Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Hype

With Kingdom Hearts 2.5 releasing just tomorrow, does anyone have any fond memories from either Kingdom Hearts 2 or Birth By Sleep (or....uh....favorite cutscene from that other game, I guess) they are excited to relive in HD? Or excited for any Final Mix features you've always wanted to try out? Personally, I can't wait to play the Terra vs. Xehanort boss fight or even Sora vs. Xaldin boss fight as those were probably two of my favorite fights from the series. Getting to use drive forms again is also pretty exciting. In terms of new stuff, for me anyway, I'm looking forward to finally playing the infamous Sora vs Roxas battle and getting to use Limit Form for the first time. I'd say the Lingering Will fight but I couldn't even beat Mysterious Stranger from KH1 so errrrrr.....

I'm not really looking to play them again, unless it's free! So I'm not too hype about it. I'm sure; it's dazzling and all with the final mixes and it being in HD and everything, but I'm not all that excited. Now 1.5 HD ReMIX, I might buy or rent, because I haven't played the first KH.

Seriously? That's a bit odd. Especially if you've played the other games.

I would say that it is worth it. Out of all the Final Mixes, KH2's Final Mix is hands down the best.

But if you're not gonna get it then I would suggest that you look for the Re:Coded video. They threw in two scenes that are completely brand new and I assume hint at certain aspects of KH3. From what I read online, one of these scenes almost attempts to tie in KH Chi to everything else.

Not playing the first kingdom hearts has to be a sin somewhere...I can feel it.

1.5, 2.5 are most definitely worth the buy. Not only do we get our hands on FMS but it prepares you for how Kingdom Hearts 3 will not only look, but feel like. the small changes in the game make the experience refreshing. While I won't say it's nessicary for people.to play/own these it's not a big regret grabbing them

I'm thankful for these remakes as it gave me a chance to play them. I've owned KH1 and KH2 on the PS2, but never got around to actually playing them and with all this Final Mix and fifty different versions business, didn't want to start.

These games made it easy to get into, and now I regret not having played them sooner. I would've been part of the community that was theory-crafting about those super bosses, or trying to speculate about the story, as that's what I've done as I went through. Pretty awesome that my complete lack of interest translated into me knowing absolutely nothing about the game.

Mind you, I'm thankful I only have to wait this long for KH3...could've been worse. (I mean heck, this site used to be kh-3.net! Folks have been waiting a loooong time...). I also hope they turn out a console version of Dream Drop Distance (I expect that they would, as an incentive to perhaps, pre-order KH3, or somehow included with it), playing that on a 3DS screen with my wife will be annoying!

It would have to be bundled with something else. Dream Drop Distance is too short a game to make it worth it to buy it for console by itself.

Yeah for sure, I envision either a "bonus disc" or dlc that comes with KH3 when that launches. Either as a special pre-order perk, or as a standard inclusion as a bonus.
