Kingdom Hearts 2.8 (BIRTH BY SLEEP 0.2, DDD HD AND XCHI!) Prologue to Kingdom Hearts 3

    Hey guys if you haven't heard yet the announcement of KH 2.9 has been confirmed but is now called KH 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. Here is the trailer that was released at TGS 2015 by Square Enix. Do you guys think that KH BBS 0.2 will introduce and debut the new game mechanics for Kingdom Hearts 3 if it is a playable option. Would love to hear your guys thoughts on this.

    Love how just the other day I said in another thread that Square had originally scrapped the idea of BBS vol. 2. And yet, here it is again. The universe loves to prove me wrong, doesn't it?

    LOS ANGELES (Sept. 15, 2015) – SQUARE ENIX® and Disney Interactive today revealed that development has begun on KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, a compilation that brings the popular KINGDOM HEARTS [Dream Drop Distance] to the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system platform remastered in high definition.

    Originally released in 2012, KINGDOM HEARTS [Dream Drop Distance] HD is a full-HD remastered version of KINGDOM HEARTS 3D [Dream Drop Distance]. Series protagonists Sora and Riku take on the Mark of Mastery exam in preparation for coming threats. The signature action of the KINGDOM HEARTS series has evolved, allowing players to experience faster-paced battles and exploration at a blistering pace.

    KINGDOM HEARTS 0.2 Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage –    ​

    Doubtful Vox, but I am extreeeeemely excited for the BBS game. Especially since I was doubtful of a Volume Two existing. I am also excited for the x cutscenes with the foretellers. Might give us more information than what's already been provided to us through that game already.

    but what about them poor folks that only have a ps4 and need to catch up, them sloots over at SE better add KH I and II or i'll Riot

    I can only assume the game was renamed 2.8 because of volume II's addition which was later renamed 0.2, so it would make since that 2.8 + 0.2 = 3
