Desert Warrior vs. Taboo Sho - A Fight Between Old Friends

As requested by Sho, this is a fight to serve as a sort of "What if?" ending in our private RP where the main characters have a sort of falling out and end up in a fight.

The power tiers for our characters is either tier 6 or 7, I'm not entirely certain. The area this fight occurs in is an abandoned city. The sky is completely gray, large storm clouds concealing the sky above. Lightning strikes often in the outskirts of the city. There is a recently formed crater in the city, caused by Sho's character.

To make things simple, the profile is in the spoiler tab (Obviously). Also I took out certain details that I don't think really matter for this fight, such as the bio (Also I seem to be rather unhappy with any bio I come up with, so there's that too).

Name: Sana Morgiana Athanasia

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Species: Human/Dragon mix, with a slight trace of some kind of demon.

Personality: Confident. Based on her family and what she is, Sana was practically raised to never give into doubt and always feel proud of being who she is. In her free time she has a hobby of teasing guys and poking fun at other people. She also has a love for jewelry and other things that might be considered treasure.

Appearance:

Also she has heterochromia. Her right eye is blue and her left is green. She also has wings and a tail that she is extremely proud of. The tail is at least 4 feet long and her wingspan is at least 12 feet from one wing to the other. While the wings and tail are clearly draconian, the rest of her body looks human.

Abilities/Strengths:

Physical strength - While she doesn't look like it, Sana is strong enough to easily smash boulders with her bare hands and even lift up something as heavy as a building due to her lineage.

Physical combat - Having been taught how to fight by her family, Sana has become incredibly proficient in a hand to hand fight. One fighting style that she favors is based around essentially slapping an attack as it reaches her, redirecting the attack and forcing it to miss.

Tail dexterity - Sana is able to move her tail like any other appendage. Combined with her strength, Sana's tail can wrap around something and thrash it around whether it be an object or a person. Her tail is also able to easily slip out of people's grasp.

Flight - Sana's wings are strong enough to lift her body and enable her to fly, although there is an additional magic factor that helps with this.

Quick step - Focusing energy around her feet Sana is able to move across certain distances instantly. The speed and distance she travels doing this depends on how much strength and energy she applies. It is possible for her to move faster than sound doing this.

Durability - Even though Sana looks like a normal human being, her skin is just as hard as a dragon's scales. Causing any sort of cutting damage is just as difficult as it would be to a normal dragon. Blunt trauma damage, such as hitting, can still harm her.

High magic resistance - Another trait caused by the dragon blood that flows through her vein. Basic magic either bounces off her or harmlessly hits her. Stronger spells and the like are weakened when they hit her. Even powerful magic, unless casted by somebody stronger than your average mage, is weakened when such an attack hits Sana.

Increased senses - Each of her senses are far superior to that of the average person. She can see in near pitch-black situations, can smell scents that have become faint, can feel changes in air pressure, can hear sounds outside normal frequencies, and can taste subtle things. During her travels, Sana has learned how to feel when lightning or electricity are about to hit her.

Flame immunity - Her body cannot be burned.

Flame breath - Sana is able to breathe fire just like a normal dragon. Her flames are blue, showing that it is hotter than normal flames.

Flame manipulation magic - To further increase her strengths when fighting, Sana learned how to create flames with magic. She either uses it to throw fireballs or to cloak herself in flames as a defensive or offensive mechanism. These flames are also blue.

Smoke breath - In addition to fire, Sana can expel smoke from her mouth to blind enemies or to create an area with zero visibility.

Dark magic - Due to Sana's bit of demon heritage, she is able to perform some simple feats of dark magic without any difficulty. What is can do with this magic is limited to shadows and none of it is directly harmful to anybody. She is able to physically jump into a shadow like a body of water and jump out from another shadow. She is also able to blot out any light source for a few minutes at a time.

Dragon transformation - This is perhaps the most damaging thing Sana is able to do. The transformation is almost instantaneous. Sana covers herself with her wings and then her body transforms into a full sized dragon. This transformation increases her strengths exponentially. Unfortunately due to her relatively young age Sana is unable to maintain this form indefinitely and tends to feel weakened for a time when the transformation ends.

"Don't do anything too drastic. I'm going to get some help. Somebody strong enough to stop her. Whatever you do, just keep her in one place. Hopefully I can find somebody quickly enough."

Sana thought about these words as she ran down the empty streets in the city. He was a friend, and the last person with Sana when Astaroth started causing destruction. He was definitely right about finding somebody. There were several people in this world strong enough to bring down Astaroth without having to worry about themselves. The man Sana called grandpa was one of them. Unfortunately these people tended to be difficult to find and not all of them were willing to help people in need.

In her mind Sana knew that there would be no type of delaying Astaroth. She did not have to worry about their friend getting reinforcements. He was already out of the city and far away from Astaroth's reach. That isn't why she wasn't going to worry. If she had to, she would finish Astaroth before anybody arrived. This fight was her responsibility. It was her responsibility because it was one last duty to carry out for a friend. Astaroth had been her friend for a long time and Sana refused to allow this friend to rampage over what should have been something minor.

Sana stopped her running once she came across a large crater, evidence of recent destruction in the city. Many escaped, but unfortunately people still died by Astaroth's hand. Seeing Astaroth standing at the center of the crater, Sana took a deep breath in an attempt to calm her nerves and then stepped forward. With her step her body vanished, reappearing much closer to Astaroth.

"What the hell is wrong with you!?" She yelled at the succubus. Her emotions were a mix of anger and sadness at the scene surrounding her. "I mean, who the hell does this? I've tried to help you before. I really have. But this is just too much. Once you get some sort of idea in your head you never listen to me. I told you why it was a bad idea to love me. Why you should simply move on."

She sighed, holding back the tears from what has happened. "But you know what? I'm tired. I'm tired of being pushed around by everybody, saying 'do this' or 'do that.' I'm tired of having to explain myself to you or anybody else because my actions fail to meet expectations or because something doesn't go your way." The more she talked, the more her rage began to exceed her sadness. "You are not going to kill me. If I can't make you see reason then I will save you from your misguided suffering. I don't want to, but if I have to I will kill you."

With a step Sana was standing at the edge of the crater, off to Astaroth's side and away from harm. Another step and she stood behind Astaroth, remaining at the edge of the crater. These movements, which took a fraction of a second, almost looked like Sana teleported. Looking at Astaroth from the corner of her eye, Sana brought her hand towards her face as blue flames began to completely cover her hand.

"Why? Why don't my words reach you?" Sana whispered to herself. Snapping her hand towards Astaroth the flames poured out, creating a massive stream that quickly engulfed the crater. To any onlooker, the crater looked like a sea of flames that illuminated the ruins against the dark clouds.

 

"I don't want to kill you. But if I have to, I'll rip your heart out of your chest to stop you. I may not be anything special like you are. That doesn't matter though. Throughout our travels I've learned what it means to be strong. Some of the strongest people we've met, people stronger than you or me, came up from nothing. If you think I can't win simply because of what you are, then I'm just going to have to disappoint you again." Sana muttered under her breath.

The girl jumped into the sky, shattering the first meteorite with her fist. The ones that followed were all smacked towards Astaroth, ignited by Sana's flames for an extra impact to them. Even with Astaroth being stronger due to her father, Sana figured that she still outclassed Astaroth in the right spots. As long as she could keep this fight playing to her own strengths Sana wouldn't have to worry about losing this battle.

 

As soon as Astaroth pulled Sana towards her Sana's body became completely covered in flames. While being pushed away by Astaroth, Sana reached out and grabbed one of Astaroth's horns. She pulled the girl with her as Astaroth pushed her away, turned, and threw her into a building. "I don't have to explain myself. Not to you, not to anyone." Sana spoke, close to shaking with anger. The dragon girl darted after Astaroth. Upon reaching the building she quickly kicked it with Astaroth inside. It quickly collapsed, falling upon Astaroth.

Not stopping there Sana let forth another stream of flames. The ruins of the building quickly started to burn. "You gonna try to kiss me again? You won't like the taste a second time."

 

"Once again you prove that you don't listen to a damn thing I say. I don't know why I continue to try talking to you. I guess I should give up trying to make you listen to reason." Sana sighed in disappointment. "I'm tired of this. Not that you actually care about how I feel."

The moment Sana felt Astaroth's arms grip her body, the two fighters were immediately engulfed in Sana's blue flames. Before she hit the ground, Sana forced her arms and wings outwards and broke out of Astaroth's grasp. Unable to catch herself from the throw, the dragon girl used her tail as an attempt to cushion her head from the impact. Ignoring the pain in her neck from the impact Sana used the momentum to put some distance between her and Astaroth, rolling along the ground. As she rolled a thick smoke flowed from her mouth, quickly filling up the area around her and Astaroth and making it impossible for anyone to see.

Acting quickly, Sana grabbed large pieces of rubble and threw them at Astaroth. Even though she was unable to see, Sana's other senses let her know exactly where Astaroth was and where to aim.

 

"If you truly cared then we wouldn't be fighting like this." Sana spoke unflinchingly to Astaroth. Astaroth's punch didn't stop Sana from speaking. The impact was almost unnoticeable. "What I mean by saying that you don't care is that if you did care you would respect my decision. Instead of doing that though you freak out and start to destroy this city. How can you care if you do something this insane when something doesn't go your way? And to top it all off you said you were going to kill me right before we started fighting." She sighed and pushed the succubus back a bit. "How can I believe that you truly care? I mean, if your actions were due to your strength going to your head and you losing control then that would be one thing. Now that you've said you're holding back, I'm not sure how much I can trust with what you're saying. Especially with that bit about my family. We both know they've been back home this whole time. If you're hallucinating that they were here, then something inside of you is influencing your perceptions."

Sana moved close to Astaroth. "Like I said before; I don't want to kill you but I am prepared to if I must. After what has happened today, I can't simply walk away. With your powers the way they are, I can't leave things as they are. I don't have many options. Once things settle down the rest of the world will demand you answer for the crimes you've committed today. Things can't simply return to how they were. What do you think I can do now?"

 

"That's it?" Sana asked as she looked down at the ground in sorrow. She pushed Astaroth away from her again. "You're just going to give up? You're not going to try to do the right thing?"

In her heart Sana knew the best course of action would be to kill Astaroth here and now. She offered herself up with no more resistance; this was the perfect opportunity to prevent anybody else from getting harmed.

Sana looked back up at Astaroth, doing her best to block her sorrow. "Why are you so willing to die? Why don't you help me? Help me fix this. You think your father still holds any influence over you? Then help me tear out whatever power he has over you. Whatever you do though, don't take the easy path and run away. Not when there are better options."
