Stormbringer vs Strongest woman in the World. [Hope vs Taboo Sho]

So this is my first Arena fight. Basically we are going off of our currently running RP: Divine Intervention. Both characters are demigods. I believe that puts this fight at tier 8.

Our characters are rivals to one day rule their country. however Lilith is believed to be dead and the Emperor has sent his daughter, JaXx to see to it she is.

@sho I have decided not to make this fight usable in the RP because you wanted their power to be pretty much unfiltered which I don't see happening at their age in the current RP. (Side note: I'm kind of considering doing a what-if type scenario Arena for if the trials had actually gone according to plan and Marcus, Lilith, and Jaxx faced each other)

Name: Jaxah *JaXx*

Age: 16

Race: 2nd generation Demigod

Title: Stormbringer

Discription:
JaXx is 5'4" tall with a slender muscular build. She has bronze skin and long thick silver hair that falls in messy curls to the middle of her back. Her facial features are mostly round and youthful looking giving her a misleading innocent look that makes her easy to underestimate in battle. Her eyes are her most striking feature due to the almost glowing silvery blue color. Most often, she prefers to wear simple lightweight black leather armor.

Personality: Jaxah's personality is best described as cold and confident. From a very early age she was given the burden of great expectations, especially from her father the current emperor. Though his position does not make her a 'princess' technically, she was still expected to behave and perform like she is. Failure is not an option for her and it is punished severely. This upbringing has given her a very competitive and bold outlook. She has commonly been described as arrogant or stubborn as well. But she is a loyal daughter and she would do anything if her father ordered it though she does her best to live her life with dignity and honor. Her integrity is very important to her and she keeps her word no matter what.

Weapon(s): JaXx carries a pair of swords of different sizes that she wears on each hip. The first, and smaller of the two, is her own custom made for her. It has been enhanced with magic to make it more durable for it's size and to make it a conductor for the elements in her command. The other is obviously much too big to have been made for her. It was her father's given to her as a child. She carries it with her though she only uses it if absolutely necessary. This sword is much heavier and larger and deals heavier physical damage. It is incredibly durable and not likely to break from physical force.

Powers: Being a second generation descendant of Jupiter the king of the gods and god of storms, JaXx is a powerhouse of magic energy as well as physical strength. She has the ability to conjure devastating storms as well as control fire, air, and electricity elements. Though earth based storms are mostly out of her reach for now (such as quakes).
She is most comfortable with lightning magic. She can direct bolts from her body or from the sky and can teleport short distances by becoming a lightning bolt herself. she can also use wind magic to increase her mobility and do damage to enemies.

Abilities: Aside from the elemental magics listed, JaXx well known for how deadly she is in armed and unarmed combat. She rarely has to use her powers except against stronger enemies. She is also decent with a crossbow though she doesn't respect ranged combat as much.

Goals: To prove herself to her father, to win the loyalty of the people, and to eventually take the throne win the war and save her country.

I have removed her bio as it is not necessary.

Location: Iubreasas: empty island far to the east of Azureth. A combination of Jaxx's and Liliths power is causing a strange and unpredictable storm which is destructive to the landscape.

Sho gets first post

 

Jaxx stood uncaringly as the heavens erupted into chaos above her. She held her own sword in her right hand, her father's in her left which reflected a blue aura against the constant lightning of the storm. Unlike Lilith, her face harbored no doubt. Her expression only held cold, calculating determination as she listened to Lilith speak. She waited, as always, for her enemy to deliver the first attack. When it finally came, the silver haired girl was ready.

She lept high into the air, aided by a strong gust of wind that wavered slightly as Liliths distortions drew near. Jaxx's position was moved slightly but she landed a few feet away, in a ready stance. "You really should not underestimate our allies." She finally spoke as she stepped toward Lilith. The quake had left the ground beneath her cracked and unsteady. JaXx knew it probably wouldn't take much more abuse. "And try not to take it personally. You see, it isn't about you." For the moment she kept her distance, pulling her father's sword back across her body she suddenly threw it in Liliths direction. With a loud crash it transformed into a massive current if electricity which bolted toward Lilith, the power surging from it was enough to kick up the dust around it and knock against both girls. As JaXx had been expecting the blast, she stood firm "If Killing you is the only way I can prove myself, to save my people, so be it."

 

The bolt continued to expland until it grew long enough for Jaxx to reach out. As she touched it, it dulled back into the shape of her fathers weapon, sill crackling from the transformation. Jaxx was already on the move as she grabbed the sword. Lilith had reacted faster than she anticipated, dealing out more attacks to consider at once. Jaxx knew if Lilith managed to damage her this early it would give her an advantage considering how much more durable she was. with no other option she closed her eyes as a bolt of lightning flashed from the sky, striking Jaxx directly just as Liliths weapon would have. the strike sent out a large blast of static, energy, and earth on contact. Jaxx transformed with it, using the current to get out of the way. When the bolt was gone so was Jaxx, a crater left in the place she once stood.
At this time, the storm worsened in ferocity. The wind howled and rain began pouring from the sky, a great conductor for the Static still clinging in the air.
Another bolt came from the sky directly above Lilith, taking a fraction of a second to return Jaxx to the earth directly above her enemy. Her father's sword already mid transformation she used it more like a sword this time as she swung it at Lilith the bolt flew from the still existing handle in its weilders hand. JaXx now had to shout over the noise "You misunderstand me! The people look to the strong to lead them. The succession trials are all they understand so I can never gain their full loyalty until you and Marcus are dead."

 

Jaxx flew back from the attack, although for the first time she laughed. The wind altered direction around Jaxx, steadying her in midair. One could almost believe she was standing on an invisible platform if not for her hair flying in all directions, "As do you it seems. Still pulling your punches I see." She spoke as she wiped a droplet of silver blood from her brow.
As the rain soaked the earth, and dropplets that filled every space made every surface of the area Jaxx's playground. She could practically feel the static touching every surface, even to Liliths soaked body and weapon. This sense gave her an added perspective on her surroundings, and on Liliths movements.
Her grin deepened as she waved to Lilith, winking before her body disappeared once again disintegrating into the static in the atmosphere. She reappeared a few feet away from Lilith right in front of her. This teleportation was different than it had been before when they were younger. It made no noise and was almost instant "So why don't you try again."

 

Jaxx ignored Liliths flirtation, having sufficiently gotten the rise she wanted out of her. The first thing Jaxx noticed was the powerful tremors that shook the island. She closed her eyes 'bingo'. The tremors, and the disturbances were exactly what she was looking for: friction.
However it only took seconds for her to realize this was more than just a tremor. The ground tilted violently knocking Jaxx off balance she slid down the once flat ground and then fell off the ground entirely as the world flipped upside down 'shit.... shit... what is this?' Jaxx was taken off guard and disoriented, losing track of her surroundings. She slammed into the ground once again, only seeing breif glimpses of the surrounding area breaking up and reshaping from the violence of the quake before being thrown once again. She could tell she was taking too much damage need to find a way to steady myself....
Remembering the static she had so thoughtfully spread earlier she realized it was still thick in the surrounding area. In fact all of the massive land breaking into pieces and brushing past each other was causing a lot more friction, working better than her original plan anyway. All it needed was one well placed spark....
It took a few rapid tries but she finally managed to regain her concentration enough to transform, breaking up into many small bolts in different directions before disappearing into the storm toward the source of the quake, where the most heat was generated: around Lilith. The advance took a blink of an eye before Jaxx reappeared breifly right next to Lilith and another bolt struck right to her from the sky.
Just as before when Jaxx used this ability the bolt struck her directly. However the affect on the surrounding area was much more destructive aided by the chaos Lilith had already caused. With a deafening boom, the entire island ignited first with bright blue electricity and then with lingering flames and sparks. As before, Jaxx was gone when the flash dimmed, a much larger crater left behind that connected with the scars left behind from Heaven and Earth Shaker. The result of this cataclysmic event was the breaking of the island into several smaller land masses which still trembled. They each temporarily disappeared and reappeared between the violent waves of the ocean.
Jaxx's voice filled the air from the storm, though she hadn't yet reappeared. "Take this as a much needed wake up, Lilith! This love for me you refuse to let go of will get you killed!"

The broken up sparks in the air formed a sort of luminesant mist on one of the island shards above the crater in where Lilith stood, which came together to reform Jaxx. More filled the air in various places, occasionally flashing bright and disappearing. She already had visible bruises forming from her initial tumble from heaven and earth shaker, and deeper gashes and burns across her body from Cataclysm. The blast had been so intense the bolt had done damage before, and even during, her transformation. However hurt she was she carried herself the same as ever, tall and dignified. She still had both swords in hand which rested on either side.
The damage they had done to the island was unexpected to say the least. much of the land mass had broken away or risen much taller. what was once one island was now group of smaller cliffs varying in height, sparks and flames still lingered in all directions. And ocean water occasionally knocked against Jaxx's knees up to her waist as the wind carried debris at lethal speeds. It had become an apocalypse of all four elements.
"Ugh God who did you get that lecture from? Raven?" She mocked unapologetically. Though Liliths reaction had been unexpected she did well to put up an uncaring front. She stepped sideways, walking around the crater to the right until she stood in front of a tall cliff nearby that she could jump to if needed "I don't need you or anyone else scolding me for my choices. And I certainly don't need to explain myself to you."
Her expression returned to cold and calculating as Lilith spoke that last bit. "You can try." She initiated combat once again by shooting a bolt from her blade in Liliths direction. It was strong enough that the blast knocked Jaxx back several feet. She landed on her feet on the taller island shard behind her.

 

Jaxx watched the distortions from Lilith's attack rattle what little land mass remained behind her and to her sides. It seemed there was no way around them in order to react with a counter attack, the quake moved outward from Lilith in all directions. Jaxx's only option to react was to get out of the way. Or was it? She watched as the ground quaked, the water washed more heavily over the platforms and splashed large amounts of ocean water right into the crater in which Lilith still stood...
It didn't take long for the quake to reach the platform of land in which Jaxx stood which instantly began to shake from the distortions. Jaxx reacted quickly by diving into the water below which began to spark heavily starting from where she disappeared below the surface. The electricity sparked outward from there mostly visible around the edges of land where the water splashed against it revealing all of the ocean water in the area was charged as it poured into the crater where Lilith was standing.

The sparks waved through the water in all directions before finally coming back together in a circular shape around one of the island fragments behind Lilith. It was taller than Lilith and the sparks climbed up the surface, reforming Jaxx standing on the top of it. The girl was drenched and her wounds stung from the salt water she had exposed the to. She ignored the pain as the cold breeze blew across them, irritating the exposed flesh even further. She was done talking, each word made her resolve all the more eager to stop the talking. To stop the risk of Lilith being able to talk her out of what she knew needed to be done. For the good of her country, one of them had to die. It was the only way. She knew Lilith would already be aware she stood there, it was the only reason she was willing to attack her from behind. Otherwise, she would never attack an enemy with their back turned. She did the same attack as before, using her father's sword to send a bolt directly at Lilith. Though she held on to the blade this time "Just shut up with your lectures! Don't you understand it doesn't change anything!" she ran after the bolt with both swords glowing and ready to strike. The static ran through her body stronger than ever. If Lilith tried to punch her in this state, it would hurt her too. "No matter what, one of us has to die. These things you're saying is only making it harder on both of us!"

 

Jaxx pulled her swords back when Lilith finally let them go, shaking her head before staring at the ground. She let Lilith finish speaking and paused for a moment, as Lilith's words sank in. When Jaxx did speak again, her tone had changed slightly from what it had been earlier. It was softer and more reasonable "Lilith.... I know what you're trying to say. Truly I understand. I've considered all of those things too." she sighed "But you're putting so much blame on my father for things about this kingdom that were already broken before he took power. He is only trying to fix it. Just like I am. But you and I can not be on the same side." she raised her eyes from the ground to meet Lilith's "In spite of how your or I might feel, our people come first. And they are in danger every day because of the disorder that plagues our land. One of us has to step up and re unite them, in the only way that they will accept. We didn't choose this, and it's not fair. But it is our life either way. And if you won't fight, you will die. And make me a murderer in the process. Is that what you want?"

 

Jaxx grasped the handles of both of her swords so tightly her knuckles were white under the pressure. She's vulnerable. She's showing weakness. Strike her down now Jaxx! She could practically hear her father's voice screaming in her head. For the good of this country you must take command. Like I did with her father before her. The voice from the past could have screamed over Lilith's own voice as she spoke to her. Just as Lilith's words fell silent, she took a half of a step forward when the memory of another, more familiar, voice came to mind. I didn't raise a murderer. This isn't you.
She hesitated for a fraction of a second, the storm seemed to calm slightly. Jaxx looked Lilith in the eyes, unsure of how to proceed. She noticed the pain in her right shoulder, where the scythe struck her long before. The scar was plainly visible as a reminder I can't let my guard down. This has to end...
The conflict within her made Jaxx feel oddly claustrophobic. The rain stopped and the lightning paused as Jaxx took a breath to answer Lilith "Love doesn't exist. Hasn't everything we've been through at least taught you that? Even if it did, what would that change? Nothing. Love can't save a nation. Only action can." she signed, not once taking her eyes off of Lilith or removing her grip from her swords "We don't know your way will work. The only way we know the people will accept one of us succeeding is if one of us comes out victorious. I'm sorry Lilith. If you want to stop fighting me, you'll have to kill me."
