Preparation for Kingdom Hearts 3

    From all the trailers recently Square seems pretty adamant about giving us a 2018 release date. So I personally am banking on E3 giving us the actual release day with the game coming out sometime late, ranging somewhere between October-December. With that in mind, does anybody have any plans on doing something to prepare for KH3? Like reviewing the events of the series or anything?

    I personally am gonna take the 2 or 3 months prior to release replaying though the entire series. Figured I'd go in some order like this.
    • Back Cover
    • BBS
    • KH1
    • CoM
    • Days
    • KH2
    • Coded
    • DDD
    • 0.2
    I figured I'd take the chronological approach since I've beaten/watched each game (Except Back Cover) at least twice. I decided to put 0.2 at the end of the list since it is basically a demo for KH3 and therefore should be the most like KH3 and for the fact that even though the events chronologically take place at the end of KH1, the entire game is a story Mickey tells sometime between DDD and KH3.

    Yeah, rewatching the 3 or so hours of Days is gonna be a bit harder than the rest. But it'll be fine. I can make it. I think.

    But that involves me burning my copy of 1.5 and I would rather not do that. It has KH1 Final Mix and I'm too lazy to try and find ways to get that on its own disk. Also it has Re:CoM and I swear I'm one of the few people in the world who actually doesn't mind playing that game.

    Your will is beyond my own, I commend you young one, welcome to the green lantern co- wait...wrong series.
    I think I could handle days if it was a more condensed game. I hated the game and movie but a lot of that is I find it dull. The game is so drawn out, to me, that I only beat it once and the movies just takes out all the fun things localization added.

    If nothing else, Days had a localization team better than the other games so far. Nowhere near as many forced jokes or cheesy lines or as I call them "weirdest brother" localizations.

    Don't tempt the gaming gods. The sheer amount of time some fans have waited has already guaranteed that it wont survive it's hype build up. I quit caring around 08 but I do know that hype alone will be hard to satisfy.
