    Hans picked up his MP40 and put a clip into it. Then he put 10 other clips in his bullet vest.

    Commisar Zhukov and his men lay prone on top of a hill about 25 yards from the cottage. After cocking his Tokarev Zkukov said, "Alright, komrades, dis is the plan. Ve wait for the Jerrmans to enter the cotag, then ve foire."

    The reply came. "Yes, Komrade Commisar!"

    "Now Komrades!" Zhukov yelled when he saw the Germans begin to move. As a Soviet DP-40 began laying down covering fire, Zhukov and his men moved to a lower hill and began to engage the Germans with rifle and submachinegun fire.

    Markl pulled out his sniper, but was shaking from the shock of being spotted so suddenly.
    He lined up his aim with the closest intruder.

    Zhukov cursed as one of his men went down. Taking out a grenade, he threw it down the hill towards the Germans. He then ordered his other DP-40 machinegun to open up fire on the enemy.

    "Wot! Grenade!" His men scattered as the grenade blew up, killing two more men. "Take this Facisit swine!" He yelled, picking up a fallen comrades sniper rifle and desposing of a German soildier. His men then regrouped, and, relying on strength in numbers, fixed bayonets and charged down the hill. Zhukov remained on the hill with the two machinegunners, laying down covering fire with his T1940.

    Markl fired at will, still shaken from the original shock, and now frightened with the men charging in their direction.

    3 more of Zhukovs men fell before reaching the Germans and initiating hand-to-hand combat.

    Marlk realised that firing wouldn't help in such close combat - so he started attacking with his gun, clubbing the Soviets and stabbing them when he got the chance. "Zer!" he shouted.

    Markl had taken care of most of the closest soldiers, and so he aimed up and opened fire again.
