that's how I felt as well when I graduated, I was excited about going to a new school and starting a new chapter in my life but I was also sad about the one that I was leaving behind

yea, I would use ProTools though for more professional voice recording and definitely for music. That's the program we use in the music recording studio on campus. I can't wait to actually get in there for our next project for Audio Production class. For our last project we have to work together as a class and create a radio drama were we have to have 4 to 6 characters, music beds, and multiple sound effects that we either have to record ourselves or find online. We decided last week to do an episode from the TV show It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

yea Audacity is more for just audio projects like podcast or radio programs, which is what I do for class, definitely wouldn't use it for recording music though

oh thats cool, I've heard of programs like that, I can't remember their names though. For my beginner's audio production class we work mostly in ProTools and a little bit in Audacity, I prefer Audacity though, it's much simplier for me to understand.

I've never heard of garage band, what kind of program is that?
