For one computers are the best, and actually for easy typing, the best would be a netbook, it's also fairly cheap.
Next up are the nintendo DSi/3DS they have much better internet browser than the PSP, the limit is also higher on them to help with RP'ing
iPod Touch and iPhone, definitely easy to use, I have an iPhone I'll use quite a few times
Tablets, the iPad is a little pricey seeing is after I bouth my 64gb yesterday and everything to go with it, my cost ended up being $999.00 precise. There are other tablets though, I almost got the nook tablet

I really think you should persuade for a computer, because the major you want to do, people have gfx experience with for years and during their free time that's what they do is they're at home on their computers working on gfx or animation or even coding.

Well what do you do about homework or when you need a computer? You should really look into getting a computer, even a simple small little $400 netbook.
