Astro Boy

    Astro Boy was one of the earliest animes. It was popular enough to reach the US in the '60s.
    Astro Boy is about life on a future Earth. The main character is an android. So is his arch-enemy, Atlas. Astro Boy is kind and believes in protecting humanity. His brother on the other hand wants to destroy us.

    There will be a CGI movie in 2009. I believe it will do well because the plot is timeless. In my opinion the dates should be moved up to perhaps 3030.

    I remember watching Astro Boy all the time when I was a kid. I think the movie will do very well.
