** Autopsy's Rants and Raves **

Alright so, for over the past couple of weeks, I've been in a very intriguing sociology class. Pretty damn sure my professor is a wacky socialist, and I love him to death. Any how, he has a strong knack to spiral off into a series of tangents with telling us about statistics and current news that's far too controversial to hit the main stream. I've also heard bits and fragments about some things in the world from other sources that you may find..interesting.

1 - Native Americans are the one ethnic group that have it the worst in America. Forget about mixed races, blacks, whites, hispanics, persians, and so on for a few minutes. Try having your reservations dumped on with radioactive waste on a regular basis because local casinos don't really give a damn about your land? Try being misrepresented by a bunch of 'pale faces' and having to constantly fight for your rights because the government would rather not talk about you because they think that its too controversial to hit the air waves? Not to mention how they can hardly get enough supplies for their people because the government wants to try to forget the fact that they still exist?

Or about how people all over the US are suddenly trying to identify themselves as being Native American, even though there hasn't been any of that blood in their family for at least 5 generations? I should also throw in how they usually end up dying around their 40's or 50's because of the shitty conditions they live in, or the fact that most of them end up committing suicide because of how hard society tries to assimilate them, and how poorly we portray them in our media

2 "They took our jobs!!!" - When it comes to the subject of Immigration, I honestly think that if any of you KNEW how ridiculously shitty it is to live in Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, etc - then a lot of people whining about too many hispanics in America would actually grow a bit of sympathy. Mexico probably has the most tyrannical and corrupt government on this planet, likes to kill off its cititzens by the thousands each day, cuts off its funding for local businesses and industries, violent homeland security, and 3rd world countries.

So yea, whenever they like to risk their necks and their lives getting across that border, they're putting everything on the line because there is honestly NO hope for them back home. So, if someone you know..or you just so happen to lose your job to someone that's latino for whatever reason and its mildly evident that they weren't born and raised in this country -- Show them some god damn respect.

The United States began when a bunch of Englishmen, Scots, Irishmen, Swedes, Dutch, Norwegians, Africans, Portuguese, and Spanish came onto this soil in waves. Just because some can't handle a bunch of latinos filling up apartment buildings, it doesn't mean that there should be a permanent law preventing them from coming into this country. It's only history repeating itself. I should also add that by coming to america, they're actually given the 'option' instead of the 'obligation' to work their asses off. It's basically slavery down there in Mexico. Similar to China.

Besides, babies mixed with latino are usually extremely sexy. So, hush.

So you're saying what...exactly?

Mexico's systems are pretty tyrannical, so the standard of living is pretty low because most of its citizens don't excel in marketing or buying better houses in prettier living conditions because they're living in total fear. And immigrants have adapted to our standard of living for decades. Sometimes it might be as hard as all hell, but its still a MUCH better bet to make it here than over there economically and socially.

And Moogle, yea. I have read a good load of Fast Food Nation. Brilliant book is brilliant.
I honestly think our country should break its international habits for 50 years, and focus on building our industries through whatever labor on our own soil. More jobs for everyone that way. Not to mention that it might make or economic system better, considering that we wouldn't have to worry about too much debt.

I mean, even though its obviously cheaper to make a poor man in taiwan make our plastic cups, we need to learn to be more industrially independent.
