  1. What do you think is the best game out of all of them? Personally, I absolutely loved Kingdom Hearts. It had a great opening story, a well picked out cast of characters, a relatively flexible fighting system, challenging difficulty, and a nice soundtrack.

Kingdom Hearts is easily the best. Though it wasn't perfect (I'm looking at the camera and Gummi ship, here), I felt that the story was better and the game was more challenging in KH than in KH II. KH was also tons more fun to play than COM, though to me, almost anything would be better than that card crap.

I still haven't gotten around to the newer ones, but even without knowing much about them, I don't think they'd be able to compare to KH.

  3. In terms of the Gummi Ship thing, Kingdom Hearts 2 did a wonderful job. The first game had the most boring and tedious Gummi Ship thing that I would just sit there waiting for it end while holding down the fire button -_-

I like KH2!! It was so pretty and i just loved it!! ^^

  5. Kingdom Hearts 2 had a great set of villains I have to say. But it was way to easy -_-

Lets see... Even though Kingdom Hearts 2 was very easy, I still pick it, well for one It had a great storyline, better villains, better gummi ship upgrades and what not... As for difficulty KH1, blows everything out of the water.. Overall, I loved all them... I didn't really had a favorite or not favorite... So yeah...

  7. Kingdom Hearts had a difficulty like no other O_O

The only difficult opponent on KH, in my opinion, is Sephiroth. Anyway, I choose KH 358/2 Days to be my favorite. It was usually straight into the action, although that's pretty much what it was. not much traveling, but still. And it also had one of the hardest Heartless in it so it was really difficult to complete the game.

  9. I liked 358/2 Days incorporating the multiplayer feature. It was fun to play with your friends in missions and stuff. Heart Collection was just fun.

I voted for Re:CoM because even though the world system was AWFUL I thought the storyline was very good and I actually did like the gameplay quite a bit because it was more tactically based than X button mashing but it was also real time unlike a turn-based tactics game. In truth the original KH is easily the best but I don't want Re:Com to have no votes 8D. However, that being said, aside from perhaps the challenge factor I thought 358/2 was the worst due to Xion's irrelevancy to the plot and the overall repetition; I liked some things about it, don't get me wrong, but I thought there was much more that was bad than good. KH2 is easily a close second to being the worst 8D.

  11. Re:Chain of Memories was pretty good in my opinion. I would have to give it a three though. Mainly because I found the boss fights a lot easier there than in the GBA version :-/

*yawns* i think i've been away for long enough to let you kids play around..

Toph has said it, the best game is the first Kingdom Hearts. By far, it's almost like no competition really. Kingdom Hearts 2 didn't quite capture nor pull me in. To me it sorta lacked emotion and everything happened to fast. Like it was rushed. Days was okay, to repetitive though. CoM eh hated the cards..

KH2 had fun game play but did lack story. After one play through of KH2, I began skipping all the cut scenes during the play through afterwards. A bit of story was there but once seemed to be enough to understand the jib of it all.
KH1 I had to watch more than once. A couple of things that made me go "huh, hmm" had me resetting to nearest save point just to watch the cut scene again.
CoM was pretty cool. I did enjoy the "darkness" of the game. Evil characters, plotting against eachother and killing one another. Even though I've only played the GBA one, it was enough to have me find that these characters are pretty ef'd.
Haven't played the others but in the end, I'd say KH1 takes my vote.

  14. Chain of Memories made Axel seem more sinister than he's portrayed in the other games. In KH2 and Days, he sort of acts more impish than sneaky.

my next post is irrelevant to this argument like this one is, but i can't stand comments like this. The reason Axel was being "sneaky" and "sinister" is because he had to be, it was his mission on CoM to trick those going against Xemnas' orders. We never really actually saw who he really was until KH2 and Days. AND ontop of that he only is nice to Roxas really.

  16. He was relatively nice to Larxene to some extent but that's probably because he was trying to ge close to her to get information on the traitors within the organization so I guess that doesn't count.

wtf dude. didn't you just read what i said let me say it more, HIS MISSION IN CoM WAS TO ACT SNEAKY AND DESTROY THOSE GOING AGAINST XEMNAS' ORDERS. THATS EVERYONE THAT WAS IN CASTLE OBLIVION. so if he was being nice, it's because he was again being "sneaky" wtf...

  18. Then wouldn't that mean that I was just now agreeing with you? Seriously? Calm that down.

Or it means you repeated what I said, which makes your post irrelevant, which means please stop because your annoying me. this is a warning.

Exactly. And on a second playthrough, the lack of emotion seems even worse. The first time I played KHII, I thought Axel's death was sad. This time through, I was just kinda like "Huh. Next scene, please." Same goes for just about every emotional scene, with the exception of some of those involving Riku. He's still an anti-hero badass, if a little self-pitying. And you're right about the game feeling rushed, too. With tournaments and leveling up and stuff, I can put the same amount of hours onto II as I did on I, but the actual story bit seemed to fly by extremely quickly.

I'll sound like a terrible fan, but in a way, I feel like the sequels have brought KH I down a little. I enjoyed it more when Ansem was just plain old badass Ansem, and not this Xehanort's Heartless business, when Sora was special for having a keyblade (rather than everyone laying their hands on one), and I thought the story KH I laid out was fine as it was. Now, S-E are (and have been) fleshing it out, and I dunno, it just doesn't do it for me as much. That's not to say that I hate any of the other games, they just fall short of the genius of KH I.

    KH I ftw.
