Bitcoin

    Who here uses/heard of Bitcoin? It's basically a peer to peer (P2P) currency, made by buying or mining it using some of your processor power, and can be exchanged for real money.

    I just got into it today. I am running a program that solves an equation using processor power, and once it's solved, awards me bitcoin for the part I helped solve. It's a cool idea.

    I've never heard of it, but wow that's something new to me. I was just looking into it, and it's literally like its own currency.

    My friend bought and sold them and made enough money to buy a Nissan 350z. Much jealous.
