    This tutorial is for photoshop. I wouldn't have a clue with gimp sorry.

    Nice, simple tutorial. It'll be helpful to those who've never heard of clipping masks before, and I would think it should be easily transferable to GIMP, or whatever most of the folks here use. I know I use clipping masks quite a bit. ^_^
