    so i was wondering if there were people on here that cosplayed? (which basically means making your own costume for an anime/manga/video game character)

    this year was the 2nd year ive been to an anime/video game convention.

    i wanna know your thoughts about it.

    personally if you haven't been to one i think you should go at least once. there's always a lot of kingdom hearts cosplayers. i cosplayed as Kairi this year (which turned out as an epic fail).

    basically you meet a lot of new people from every where. there's always something to do. there's an artists area to sell your artwork. there's a dealers room where there's a lot of cheap manga, real swords, plushies. basically anything. there are also contests which you can win prizes for your cosplay you've made. and also you get to meet voice actors from your favorite anime or video game.

    what do you think?

    I do agree with you about the "if you haven't been to one i think you should go at least once".
    First Time I went to a convention, I felt like the loser who DIDN'T Cosplay. Everyone was awesome but me and my mate.
    But we had our share of Small Competitions, Anime, Manga (actually, pretty much the only place to buy manga here is at a convention), games, freebies and what not. We also met some new people and some old friends as well and people we know but never talk to XD
