Plot - Took right off where the first part ended, in the closing days of the suzuran war and the school almost united, the current head Genji Takiya (Oguri Shun) made a slight cock up and ended up starting a war against neighbouring school and old rivals Housen Accademy. The story of this one had much greater meaning, A boy coming to terms with adulthood and it shows what friends will really do for eachother. It even shows that your friends may not seem to be your friends at all. Very thought provoking and exiting, the fight scenes destroy the ones of the first movie.

    Acting
    - As I said in the review of Crows Zero (Found here http://kh-3.net/forums/movie-reviews/1635-crows-zero.html) The acting was almost perfect, the casting did a great job picking the cast and placing in parts that fit. I take back what I said about being slightly dissapointed with Takayuki Yamada as Tamao Serizawa, as I see now that the sadistic nature of him was not needed as he wasn't really the enemy, the great thing about this movie is that there are no real enemies, more rivals than anything. The Housen academy actors were very cool and the onslaught of skinhead extras know as "Baldy's" in both the movie and the manga are native to Housen Accademy and were portraid extremely well.

Visual Effects - Once again none bar the huge amounts of fake blood, which seemed extremely realistic, darker colours for huge amounts of blood etc. I even said aloud whilst watching the end of the film "wow, look at the blood on his shirt!"

    10/10

    Audio
    - Overall sound quality was low due to it being a cinema recording, but the punches... wow, they sounded so hard and amazing, am wondering if you can punch like that for real.

    9/10

    Overall
    - This Movie is amazing and joins Crows Zero at the top of my recomendations list. The ending was pretty open but had subtle hints to a third not including the main cast, I am debating whether or not I want this as the main cast made it so great. If it is to be directed by Miike again I guess I would have to see it as the overall presentation of the film was top notch.

    9.25/10
