As Koga stood in the Administrator Guild room his eyes scanned quickly as he tried to find any hint of a bug before he left for his other guild. After several minutes he found nothing and sighed softly. His black hair reflected the light given off by the multitude of computer lights surrounding him. His right hand came up to envelope his face. He should be sleeping right now, but the current problem of the rogue A.I. that was placing people into coma's was a serious issue. One that CyberConnect wanted solved ASAP, and these past few nights the other Admin's were getting more and more skittish about coming on for fear of getting hit by the A.I.
"You look like you need more rest." A calming yet deep voice spoke. Koga turned around to see Kudomai. Kudomai's player info said he was at least thirty, but for some reason he insisted on playing a character that suited his voice, which was to say, grandfatherly. Koga nodded to the other Admin in respect and replied softly,
"With more and more people become Lost Ones, other Admin's are starting to get scared. I haven't slept well in a good while." Koga walked over to the other man and offered his hand polietly. Kudomai took it and gave it a quick shake and then diverted his gaze to the screens.
"Maybe you should ask CyberConnect for a vacation?"
"No, I couldn't. There is much to be done and I couldn't bare to leave The World when it is in such a state. No, now more than ever The World is going to need Admin's to help calm the public and make sure nothing too bad happens."
"I see. You really love The World, don't you?" Kudomai asked solemly. Koga only responded with a nod..
"Well I'll take over so you go ahead and get some rest."
"I still have some other things to take care of, but thank you for your concern." Koga bowed deep to the other mna and walked out of the Admin guild.

 

Kalenz stood in the middle of a circle of white screens. He was talking to the top guys, the leaders of CC Corp. One of them said, "Listen, we know it is difficult to find the AIDA, but if you don't players will stop playing." He turned to the screen. "Oh, so you only care about players leaving?" He asked heatedly. "Perhaps you should enter The World." "Kalenz, stop agrivating us. We don't want excuses, we want results." Kalenz sighed. "Look, if i could, i would deliver. But i just don't know were to start. If i had more people it would be fine, but as is I can't do much. I can only hope to keep the damage down when an AIDA surfaces." "Thats not good enough!" "Well then why don't you give me other players to help me out!" Kalenz shouted. "If you want it AIDA gone, then you have to help me. I am one man in the middle of billions of players. I don't have a clue as to where to start looking!" "We've heard enough. We will think about giving you a few more players to help you in your search. That will be all, good day Kalenz." "Kalenz out." The windows dissapeared. He sighed, collapsing into a chair. A stream of data appeared in front of him, then pulled away to reveal his partner. "How did it go?" He asked. "If i had a dime for every time those guys said, 'we'll think about it' and then forgot about it, i could own a few servers for this game. "Ah. I take it things went badly with the board of directors." Kalenz lifted up his staff, and fired a shot off. The blast slammed into a data screen, obliterating it. The data screen reappeared unscathed. This did not help Kalenz's mood. "That answer your question Tag?" "Yeah pretty much."

 

Katsumi logged on, only to be welcome by a screen full of private messages. All of them, where label with offers. "Lets see, which one catches my eye first." Scrolling down, one popped out right away. "Offer 10 Text of Power." Katsumi smiled.

Opening the email, she began to read this sob story.

"Hi, Kimsumi. This is Naki, I am a Shadow Warlock. Coming to The World was the best idea that I ever had. I love the experience. So one day traveling through the dungeons, I meet this group of people who are much higher than me. They said if we party, I can level up much faster. Being the noob I am, I accept, and sadly, they PK and took most of my items. So I am writing to you, if you can PK them. I am offering 10 Text of Power, I receive from quests that I finish. As a Shadow Warlock, I rather rely on Magical Power than brute force.

Help and thanks."

Katsumi began to reply, "I Can Take Care Of Your Problem." She log into the world.

 

"I honestly don't get why they don't give you help. I mean, this is big for them to right?" Tag asked. Kalenz sighed. "Helping me help The World costs money and server time. They don't like that." A data screen appeared in front of him. A director was on the screen. "Kalenz, while everyone else is being stupid, remember that i am a firm supporter of you and your work." "Thanks Regi. That doesn't help me much." Regi smiled. "Actually, it does. I am assigning Koga to you. He runs a guild, but he is also a admin for The World. He would be happy to lend a hand." Kalenz was relieved. "Sounds like you already talked to him." "Yes." Regi replied. "Very well, thanks a lot Regi. I owe you one." "8p.m., that steak and grill place on 32nd street." Kalenz laughed at his friend. "Ok, your on. Kalenz out." The screen closed. "Come on Tag, we gotta pay a visit to an old friend." They entered The World, destination: Kogas guild.

 

Katsumi log in into the Delta Server. Her avatar, Kimsumi, or Kimmy as her friends nickname her, was elegant. Sporting a beautiful kimono and a dashing sash, she look like something from a geisha house. She was going to meet Naki.

She was about to log off, in till she saw a short Shadow Warlock coming towards her. Yep, she was a noob.
"Konichiwa, Kim--" Naki began to speak was stop by Katsumi.

"Don't Speak, my name. Just call me K." Katsumi smiled.

"K, please help me. I want to get back at them."

"I'll understand and I can take care of them. Do you have the items. I will take half of the payment now and the other half after I am done. My conditions are that we partied so you can see their faces when I kill them and I'll need you to distract them."

Naki nodded in agreement and gave he 5 Text of Powers before speaking. "They are at Delta Shining Crystal Woodland. I told them I wanna meet them and talk about the incident that happen and they agree."

Katsumi smiled and walk towards the Chaos Gate. "Ready?" They warp.

 

Tag and Kalenz were no in front of the guild house for the Epitaph. "Looks like this is the place." Kalenz said. Tag had a data screen up on his sunglasses. "Yes, this is the right place. If you don't mind, i'll think i'll go the crystal region." Kalenz looked at his companion in surprise. "Why ever would you do that?" "Because i don't need to be here, and i have someone i want to meet with. I'll see you later." "Have fun with your gf." Tag's jaw dropped. "How did you know?" Kalenz grinned. "Because i have been working with you for over a year. Go get her, i can take care of this." "Ok. Thank you sir." He began walking towards the nearest chaos gate. Kalenz walked up to the door and knocked. A member opened the door. "Oh, Kalenz sir. We've been expecting you, this way please." "Thank you." He was led to a office. He opened the door, seeing koga. "Koga, my friend. It is so good to see you!" He called with a big grin on his face.

It hadn't been long, but Koga had actually needed to relay something to Kudomai before he left. However on his return, Kudomai had also needed to run to the bathroom and had left Koga to attend to the screens once again. It was by this chance that Kalenz burst into the guild and had passed the automated greeter. With a heavy sigh Koga brought his hands up and pressed them against his temples, "Kalenz . . . What is it you want -- No, better yet, who gave you the keywords for this guilds @Home?" He turned around and gave Kalenz a very bored stare.

 

"Admins don't need passwords. And you don't have to be like that." He said in a hurt voice. "Besides, didn't you get the memo? You're helping me track down AIDA's" He walked over to a plush chair, and sat down. Then he crossed his legs, and leaned back. "So how many people can you give to help me out hm? Cause this order comes from the very top of CC Corp, not that i much care for the board of directors."

Koga ignored Kelenz comment about not needing the key words. It was obvious that the Higher-ups give it to him, "Last time I checked we were working independently. Unless I get word from the CC Corp executives myself I'm not handing anyone over. Besides I don't run this outfit. Kudomai and myself have been running most of this since most of the other Admins have been too frightened to log in."

 

"They told me they told you and it was fine. My god, Tag!" He finished talking into a screen that he had appear. "Kind of busy with a monster, what do you need?" "A monster? Just were... never mind. Did the board ever contact Koga and his guild yet?" There was a pause, then an explosion. "I'm hoping that means you won." "Until he comes back. Umm, according to records... No." "Those dirty, rotten, lieing pieces of-" "Is that all? Its just that he is coming back really, really fast." "What, oh yes. Thats all, good luck." "Thanks." There was another explosion sound, and a battle cry before the communication closed. "My apologies Koga. They said that you were fine with helping me out. Oh, whats that?" There was a message for Koga, and it was from CC Corp board of directors. "Bout freaking time."

Koga cursed that the little symbol for mail popped up before him. He'd have to ask the maintenance people to change that. It would make a small difference. Reluctantly he opened up the message. A new window popped open on his screen and his eyes quickly scanned over its contents, "It would seem that you are partially correct. They are saying in this letter, I'll forward it to you if you wish, that we have merged and that we will be working together in hopes that this will produce better results." He closed the message and looked back at Kelenz, "I'm sorry that I cannot talk more at the moment, but I need to finish something and log off. It has been a long night and I wish to sleep."

 

"Yeah, I have to go see if my subordinate needs a hand. Last thing i need is him asking me for a resurrection. Later Koga." With that, Kalenz sweeped out of the room.

The battle was not going well for Tag. "Of all the monsters, why a dragon. Whoa!" He jumped to the side as another fire ball was sent at him. "Darn it." He did another power swing in the hopes that it would get blown away. Instead, it flew over the attack and tried to take a bite out of him. "Ah man, Kalenz please tell me your coming." "Hi. Nice dragon." Kalenz responded as he walked into the battle field. "Kalenz!" "Your Hp is low. Good thing i made it." The dragon roared again. "Quiet you." With that, Kalenz blew it away with one of his spells. "Good bye Mp. Oh well." Little exp marks appeared over them as the dragon faded. "I hope that wasn't your friend." Kalenz sighed. "Don't worry, my friend and I aren't meeting right here. This way." They started walking again towards Tom's group.

 

Will strode in and set his messenger bag next to the door. He checked the message machine and found that his father was at the bar and his mother was woking late. "Lovely... gotta find something to nuke in the microwave for dinner..." He muttered, striding up to his room. he turned one his computer and dropped into his chair. He opened the mini-fridge below his desk, grabbing a root beer from it and drinking slowly as the game loaded up. When it had loaded he put on the visor and grabbed the controller, entering the same place his friend Tom was. "Hey Tom." He said, landing in the world.

 

Xeno logged into the delta server as usual, being reset as a PKK adept rogue atlevel 1 was something he was familiar with. he gazed around at all the new players. Roaming around having fun, their player graphics were updated so everything looked much smoother. Xeno got to thinking about how those unique players had saved "the world" time and time again while he was out doing god knows what.
Finally he gave a big sigh and began stalking a smug looking character as he approached a group of people. one in general screamed twin blade fan, there was no mistaking it. The other two seemed to favor shadow warlock and blade brandier classes. Xeno relaxed himself against a nearby pillar as the four started talking.
"hey! wich n00b are we pwning today?"blade brandier.
"anyone in our paths lol!"shadow warlock.
"lol"Twin blade.
"lol" other guy.
Xeno inserted himself into the group. "mind if i join you?". The other characters fell silent upon gazing at his character a specially designed character thanks to cc corp. They then began laughing whenthe gazed at his level.
"rofl! get lost n00b!"other guy.
Xeno walked off calmly and waited for them to leave. He then followed after them, itdidn't do himmuch good as he had to randomly select a server to go into. he wound up in "delta shining crystal woodland".
and began running around looking for those PK's. coming up on an island Xeno came across another levelwho had just killed three monsters and ran up to him. "hey did you see a twin blade, shadow warlock, blade brandier and flick reaper stroll by? their levels were ranging from 24-35..".
Xeno stopped for a moment it he realized this kid was not alone, he was called tom. he gazed around at the lot of the and knew he saw something interesting in them.

 

Draco finaly got his copy of The World R-2 and just finished istallling it to his computer.
"Finally Its Finished" He said to himself. He Click on the Icon And Made his Character.
"now To Show My Friends that i will be better than them" he said. And Logged In.

Akira Looked around the Root Town in aw. he decided to Go And Train To Start with and he
Approached The Chaos Gate.
