    Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation is coming out February 14th 2011 for DS. Why are Square making so much handheld games? The reason why they're bankrupt is because they're not taking risks or are following the trends. Do something different and make a console game of your own! Make a new IP and advertise it!!!! Be proud of your work! (Nier)

    In a manner of speaking, they did take a risk. They took a game, knowing full well that it isn't really a complete product, presumably with some playtesting, and decided to call it FFXIV, even though they already knew how fans reacted to XI. And it looks like they got burned.

    They make many handheld remakes as buffers to recoup their losses as well as provide themselves revenue for future games.

    That's logical but Square should have polished FFXIV further before releasing it. I'm going to get it for PS3 and then trade it after my free month.
