Well, I figured I could do one of these. Warning - this is a mature story, and uses some foul language and scenes. Do not read if you are offended by such things.

Chapter 1: The City of Dreams

The cold night air flew down upon the ghastly streets of the city like a blanket laid over a newborn. All the scum and vermin living above on these streets were engaged in every imaginable manner of devious deeds. From the child stealing candy from the cornerstore to a crack dealer being betrayed and shot at his warehouse, the city looked to be the grimmest thing in sight. The whore on the side street would beckon nearby drivers, causing some to have spasms of lust while others having heart failure from sheer disgust. The massive volume of car wrecks inhabiting the night air was unbeleiveable. Disturbing scenes of violence, murder, and insatiable sex drives were visable through every window, in every alleyway, through the walls of every home. Buildings that scraped the sky were found throughout the desolate wasteland of life and negligence. Nowhere else on the planet will one find such a diverse culture. In no other city would one find such a strange smorgesboard of items. From the old relics of ancient Europe to the newest versions of Coca Cola. All types of people gather here. From those as common as the Americans, to those as scarce as the Indian populous. Every type of person is found here as well. Murderers and rapists, scientists and protegies, descendants of Knights and Kings. All types of religions lay here as well. Catholics, Buddhists, Jews, and Atheists. Amongst them are some of the strangest people imaginable. From the Priest of a Church who is thought to be a servant of God, to the lowlife poverty stricken Atheist. The hospitals were ratholes, overrun with the most vile patients and corrupt doctors in the world. Theft and vandalism found itself even into these walls. Babes were born every minute, with many of them being thrown out due to imperfections. Slightly enlarged scalps, slightly small limbs, even those whom were too fat when born were tossed aside, left to be dined upon by the circling vultures. As much as one would think to hate it, I never have. It is, of course, my birthplace.
A woman lay on an operating table, having contractions every few seconds. The doctors came in, strapping on their latex gloves and facemasks.
A nearby nusre informs the doctor, "Sir, she is fully dialated, and the contractions are getting more rapid!"
The doctor's reply was a simply gesture that spoke a thousand words to the nurse. She immediately stopped speaking and proceeded to quickly grab a blanket and a cleaning turnikit. The doctor stared into the woman's eyes, those bulging eyes that screamed, "Help me..." His reply was one simple word.
    "Push, Mrs. Lawrence."
She followed the doctor's instructions promptly. She screamed in pain as she did push, her grip tightening on the hand of her husband whom was standing nearby. His hand pulsed as it began losing color from her powerful grip. As she screamed, so did he. It took several long hours after that...
