Facebook Page?

    I think you guys should make a facebook page so we can get information throug facebook as well...

    I think it could be beneficial to actually give a more personal sense to what fleeting relations we share with people around here. I've seen a few forums/sites like this one that make facebook groups for themselves, and people still visit the sites after joining said groups.

    I also like the idea of a Facebook page, whether we like it or not Facebook has become a reliable medium for getting out information to a mass amount of people at one time and since we could always use new members, why not turn to Facebook to get some new recruits?

    AnimeMB has a facebook but I forgot if this site has a facebook. I remember that we had discussed on this idea before though.

    What I have seen from before, gathering newbies from Facebook is not actually so easy as it would seem. And it would also mean that someone should be always updating the page with new info about the new articles on site, etc., which ohoho, you don't yet have, at least with recent update rate.

    Maybe it would gather some likes or so, but I think that it would only end in that the members already here are the only ones who like the page. But can't say no bigger no in this since it's not my decision. Have it as you like.

    Hmm... I think a Facebook page would be a good idea, but I agree with noz....

    I think it would be a lot of work and I'm just a noobie here, but I also know that our site would have to be a little more developed. We'd really have to be able to bring something to the table.

    Having more contest might be a way to change this, however. This is just a suggestion, but having more contest pages and being able to post those on our future FB page could be a good idea. Like noz said, it's not our decision, but I believe that while it's not a bad idea, maybe it's also not the best time right NOW to have a FB page.

    Pretty much what noz said is my current opinion on the subject. Maybe someday, but right now, I don't think it'll happen. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
