Long has the Kingdom of Edlarin been at war. It was ten years ago... ten long years ago, when Eldarin was at its peak in strength, that neighboring Kingdom of Tharsis to the west launched its initial siege. The result was instantaneous panic for Eldarin had never attacked any of its neighbors; it was something widely unexpected. The thought of war rushing through the kingdom, the armies scrambled to defend their lands. Given the state of their mobilization, the Eldarin forces held out quite well. The following years were to see many flips in the dominance of the war.

But the years have come to bear a striking toll upon both kingdoms. Neither would be able to keep fighting... were it not for the fact that the Kingdom of Wrenn, to the east of Eldarin, recently saw providence in the wars, and agreed to aid Tharsis in a final push for victory. The armies of Tharsis and Wrenn, have now gathered in what is known as "The Union." The Union armies have gathered in the Sacred Fields, just outside of the capitol city of Eldarin, Ave Guard, built into east edge of the Eldar Peaks. They aim to make this the last battle against the Eldarin kingdom.

The forces that remain able within Eldarin have all been summoned to aid in the defenses of the city. Some of have taken hold within its walls, while others have taken station near East Vale, ready to engage later in the battle. For Eldarin, this is the last chance to win the war that they have fought hard to survive through. If they fail here, then it's over for them, but if they succeed, they might just have the chance to drive their foes back.

    Rules of This RP
    1. No Godmoding. Your character is not invincible, you don't have knowledge as wide as the cosmos, and you certainly can't lay waste to everything that lay before you in an instant.
    2. No Powerplaying. Your character is yours, that's why you made them, is it not? Don't go playing anyone else's character unless they give you permission. This includes forcing hits on them in battles.
    3. Mind the fourth wall. Just because you know something OOC, doesn't mean that your character knows something IC. Any OOC info regarding where this RP is going should have no weight on your character's actions save for when it's to do with them.
    4. There is no rule number four.
    5. The Lord of Eldarin will be an NPC, and kept well out of the line of fire in battle. Feel free to play family members though.
    6. Magic is still debatable in the RP. I might add something of that element in, I might not. Once the RP starts then forget about it.

    The Character Sheet
Name: Make it cool, but not ridiculous. Feel free to include a last name as well. And you might as well try to keep it middle earthy.
Age: Don't make this too young or too old. Between 18 and 30 is the best for this.
    Gender: Pick one, please.
    Side: The Union, or Eldarin
Appearance: Pics are good, but descriptions are better. If you can use both, then go for it.
Weapons: Try to be practical in terms of realism. You won't be running around with a sword like Cloud's or Sephy's here. That would just be ridiculous.
Background: The history of your character. Aim for two paragraphs.
*You'll notice that I didn't include personality in the character sheet. I do this, so that we might all draw our own conclusions about other peoples' character(s).
