FF X Pointers: Respond!

Cool, how much did you pay for it? (I got mine for $10 Thank You EB sell outs!)

Anyway, during battle in the top right hand corner there is a list of names. That's the order in which everyone will take turns but can be altered with your slow and haste type spells. That's something to note for long boss battles and does help you out for your own strategic styles.

Leveling is different from your usual FF's. There's a Sphere grid thing which allows you to customise your characters strengths.

Know each Characters traits on the Sphere Grid, speed guy, defence guy, magic guy etc.

Summons are different, You control them.

If your a perfectionist, do the sidequests, all of them XD (This includes Mini Games)

Don't leave stones unturned (talk to everyone, find treasures~some things are only there once and you can never get them again which might be needed for side quests, and the other things)

Weapons are customisable to add abilities to them. eg Double exp, fire element, petrify etc as well as armour which can also be customised.

I've heard there is also that kind of "Love Points" thing in the Game (like FF7 for the Gold Saucer Dates)

Teach Yuna some black magic, her magic strength is pretty high and she does more damage than LuLu.

 

REMEMBER TO GET THE CELESTIAL WEAPONS!! Also remember to get the signals & the, uh, other thing that boost up the celestial weapons powers! You will know what they are once you see that they have the planet's name. You can get the first moon signal on Besaid. Also, DON'T FORGET TO GET THE MAGUS SISTERS!! THEY'RE THE BEST, EVEN OUTBEST ANIMA & YOJIMBO!!! Remember to capture enemies all over spira. Also remember to create Nemesis, the strongest enemy in all of Spira, after capturing 10 of every fiend & defeating the created fiends.

 

REMEMBER TO PLAY A LOT OF BLITZBALL!! IT's WORTH IT!! You will unlock Wakka's three other overdrives, get the Jupiter Sig I think, & get neat items. You will also be able to have your team get new abilities too, & WIN THAT TOURNAMENT WHEN YOU FIRST ENTER LUCA!!

 

Do not leave the temple in Bevelle until you're sure you've gotten every item. If you don't get the items, then you can't get Anima. And if you don't get Anima, you won't be able to get the Magus Sisters or Yuna's ultimate weapon.

 

After you complete each of their own personal sphere grid. This what you do next. Transfer Auron either to Tidus or Rikku. You need speed. Tidus and Rikku's sphere grids are speed sphere grids and accuracy.

Transport Rikku to Wakka, Wakka is status aliment sphere grid. Rikku + Status Attack = Death. Tidus goes to Auron for attack purposes. Wakka goes to Khimari. Lulu goes to Yuna and vice versa for magic stuff. And that's it.

 

You automatically will complete the treasure thing in Bevelle anyways. Once you see that treasure chest block your path to get into the Antechamber of the fayth, open it & you already got it. Peace of cake. There's another treasure that you can get, but it don't have any effect on the Anima & Magus Sisters part. REMEMBER TO DO A LOT OF CHOCOBO RACING!! You'll see what I mean. Also, in the chocobo race, TRY TO GET 0.00.0!! I know that it sounds like it's impossible, BUT IT'S POSSIBLE! You'll see what prize you'll get once you get that time.

 

No you don't automatically get it. My friend missed getting the item in the temple, so he couldn't get Anima. Trust me on this.

Other advice... Once you're able to, remember to capture 10 of each regular enemy in the game.
