Final Fantasy XIV Open Beta

    Final Fantasy XIV is now in Open Beta!

    FINAL FANTASY XIV

    They have actually been open for awhile,but if you have a Square Enix account you should be able to get an open beta registration code.

    If you wish to do this and need help,feel free to ask.Im currently signing up for the beta now and about to download the client.There should be an email that tells you what to do once you register for the code required.You need the Square Enix account before you can get that code.

    Note that this is the WINDOWS version of the game.The PS3 version (which I am also going to do) will not be for another couple more months since that one comes up later.)

    Very cool. I'm downloading the beta for this game too as I write this. I haven't played XI so I'll be a bit lost on how the game we'll be played, but I'm absolutely pumped for the beta, and I hope to meet up with you guys in the game if you play;

    One question: Do you get an error message when you try to start the beta?I do.Im not good with computers so Im not sure what to do,though some of the stuff i read that I understand pretty much says that it might not work for me since I use a laptop.I do have a regular computer,but that thing is so virus ridden and slow that it barley runs free MMOs,while my laptop runs them fine.

    I just now getting an email from them. I never did played FFXIII or FFXI but I really want to try out some more final fantasy games.

    Edit: If this works for me, my name in the beta would be either "SummonerBWM", "Edea", or "Larsa".

    Edit2: THE BETA IS NOT WORKING FOR ME FOR SOME REASON!!! I just about to play but then an error popped up!
