General Question

    Hey, I've been doing some interesting reading and I have a question. I don't know if I should use spoilers or not, because I don't think it's a secret anymore, but I'll still go ahead and do it.

    My question is this: I understand than Ventus and Roxas are two different entities, this has been confirmed by the series creator. If this is so, why do they look identical? Was he trolling us?

    ventus heart was inside of sora
    and when sora released kairi's hearts he also released ven's hearts
    and thats why roxas looks like like ven....you know the rest

    i dont know how to fully explain it yet


    thats what i think...
    and please dont yell at me if i got things wrong....
    i've played birth by sleep, kh 1, kh 2 and still playing kingdom hearts re chain of memories

    I dont know if he actually released Ven's heart,though it would make sense with Roxas actually seeming to have emotion when a Nobody shouldnt.

    As for why he looks like him,whether he has it or not,Nobody's look similar,if not the same,as their previous self.Sora pretty much had three hearts/selfs when he released Kairi,with Roxas taking after Ven,and Namine seeming to take a combo approach with Ven/Kairi (...this sounds like shipping now...)

    I havnt been able to play BBS,and only goin by what I know/speculation.Plus it will hopefully be explained in KH III...or maybe never,who knows.

    Ven and Roxas look alike because Roxas has Ven's heart.

    I think Birth by Sleep, as nice of a game as it was, has added some more unnecessary confusion to what is already quite a tangled web of a story line to the casual viewer.

    But yeah, pretty much what they said above. Nobodies tend to mimic the appearance of their original selves, but in Soras case when he unlocked his own heart in KH1 to release Kairis heart, and thus creating his nobody Roxas, he already had Vens heart resting within him too (from the events of Birth by Sleep).

    So his nobody took Vens appearance for this reason, same reason that Vanitas looks like Sora.

    They're all connected ;-)

    He has a half of Ven's heart, maybe, actually.
    Sora had Ven's heart. When he had a nobody, some half of Ven's heart is shared. It was kept inside him so Roxas look Ventus.

    I played BBS like for 121 times and Final Mix for 62 times.
