    Good Evening my fellow Kingdom Hearts fans, my name is Julia Rose and I'm so glad to have joined this site. Ihope to get to know as many of you as possible.

    I first played Kingdom Hearts at twelve years old, a few years after the US release of the game and the reason why I'd begged my mom to get a PS2. After only the game's opening scene with it's beautiful imagery and music I was starstruck by the character Riku almost instantly, which spawned a typical self-insert fanfiction complete with horrible grammar and cliche mary-sue only the most obsessed fangirl could write. Thank God I hadn't discovered the internet just yet, or I would have been in for more embarassment than I do now already.

    Now I'm a twenty year old college student still playing video games and still writing fanfiction; though I believe it has greatly improved since the naive age of twelve. I love storytelling in all mediums from video games, the cinema, television, literatue, and etc. My dream is to tell my own stories through the art of drawn animation, but I also like to write too. So I use fanfiction as a rough draft of potential orginal work in the future and feedback from the internet to improve my skills. It has taught me much over the years, and still have even more to learn.

    I also enjoy reviewing fanfiction, and would be happy to take requests. I am a fair but objective reviewer; honest but not harsh. A productive reviewer doesn't just tell what the writer did wrong but also what they did right, because that's where the potential lies. My concern as a reviewer is to help you grow as a writer, not bring down your self esteem. While there is plenty of offensive fanfiction and original work out there that deserves to be used for public laughs and critism, beginning preteen/teen writers that don't know any better shouldn't be the targets for that. I know I sure as hell didn't know any better.:eek:

    I love to read fanfics when I'm not too lazy to read them. Anywho, you have quite an introduction there. It seems that you'll fit in, nicely. :O

    Konnichiwa! Welcome to the forums! I've seen a few of your posts around and I'm glad to see your enjoying it so far! :D As you can tell, I'm YaminoHikari14, lots of people call me Yami, or if you want just make up your own nickname for me XD! I like Honest people, it's not easy to always be honest and I know few honest people. Yay! You like writing too, thats great! Though, I am more of a drawing person, I love to write and create illustrations of the characters for my stories.

    I am so late. Anyways, that mammoth of an introduction was actually quite interesting. It's reassuring to know that mary-sue makers do grow out of the self-insert phase. I'm glad you're enjoying the site and hope that you stay for a while. Your text is rather painful though.
