    I've got a PS3, a PC and a PSP.
I'm looking for a really good game that is long, fun, has a great plot and with action in it (preferably an RPG or a First Person Shooter).
Can anyone help me out? What are your suggestions?

  2. LivingDeath

    LivingDeath Dormina'd

Pc: Counter Strike source (but you must play online)
    Halo 3 for Ps3

  3. EtherealSummoner

    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

I know a lot of gweat games!! Here's some!!

    Xenosaga 2 & Xenosaga 3( I didn't play Xenosaga 1, but get it anyways)
Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within
    Dark Cloud
    Dark Cloud 2
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time

These games are actually on the PS2, but your PS3 should be able to play them. As for the PC & the PSP, I don't know any games for them.

  4. Ventus

    Ventus Kickass Keyblader!

Warhawk and Ratchet and Clank are great games.

    I have a PS3, please add me!

Unfortunately the PS3 is unable to play those games unless you have bought one of the early ones with a bigger hard drive which allowed PS2 gaming as well (they were alot more expensive). You may be able to buy a bigger Hard Drive to customise your PS3 so it is able to play PS2 and PSX games. Not necessarily the hard drive but the thing that makes it read discs. I'm not too tech savy about these things.

    PC
I haven't got many but it's good for a number of FPS for play during a LAN with some friends. Play things like Unreal Tournament where it's in your face and continuous respawning.

    PSP
A good RPG console, you can find the early FF's on them, Breath of Fire/s, Star Ocean: First Departure plus many more that were on the PSX
Tekken is really popular and you can play with friends.
KH: BBS will be ace on it if it comes to Australia; if not then just import it :D,
God of War: Chains of Olympus is awesome,
FF Tactics if you like those kind of games (I do!),
FF7: Crisis Core is better than alright,
FF: Dissidia looks sweet but I haven't seen it in OZ yet.

    PS3
Plenty of FPS but RPG's not too many, but I think when SquareEnix release games again it'll be plentiful.
    I actually don't have a PS3 but I've played some games which I enjoyed.
    Just some to list...
Metal Gear Solid 4~ I loved it
The two up coming FF XII's look savage
God of War 3~ Coming Soon :(
Devil May Cry 4 if you enjoyed the series, but I guess it wouldn't be too late to start, you could get a second hand PS2 (if you can shell out cash) but finding the DMC 1, 2 and three is very hard.

Ok. These are all good suggestions. And I did go out and get Crisis Core for my PSP. But I probably should have mentioned that I dont have online on my PS3 until we move out of the house (by the end of the year). What is Unreal Tournament about and what is Darkcloud and Warhawk, Xenosaga about?

Unreal Tournament is an FPS with an array of weapons from normal bang bang guns and pew pew lasers to boom boom explosive cannons and rifles and kerpowphiwishizzle death beams and if you can find it in the map, a nuclear weapon thing that kills pretty much everyone in it's huge explosive range.
Also look for power ups that can give you the upper hand like double power, armour and the like. A simple in your face FPS.

It has your single player with story line that's not so great but mulitplayer has capture the flag, some weird ball game and death matches (There could be more, I'm not too sure, I've only "played" played it twice during LAN parties) with either your friends or bots or both. With the unlimited respawn and weapons readily avaliable within reach from starting or respawning, it becomes quite in your face and intense. It doesn't require online play so you can set up a LAN if your up for it with some mates to play with each other. You can play inline if you want as well to play against the world if you wanted to.

Some solid games are the god of war series, but because you have a ps3 and a psp, then the resistance series would be really good. Also, fallout 3 is incrediblely deep.

Yeah, I used to have GoW: Chains of Olympus on my PSP and my friend has Fallout 3 and I play it almost every time I go over. They're good games.:)

Btw, if i allowed to add more games for PSP:

    -Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny (later)
-Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
    -X-Men Origins: Wolverine (later)
    -Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce

    Later means un-released now :p
