Halloween Bash 2012 - The Spectre Arena

Blaze walked into the cemetery-like area, seeing tombstones surrounding the hell hound. He covered his nose, he wished he didn't have such a perfect sense of smell, "Oh god this smells like a dump filled with clogged toilets with rotten eggs spattered everywhere!" he exclaimed, "Just hope this is over with soon....the sooner I leave the better, I can leave the loser here to suffer in this s***ty smell...,"

 

From another part of the graveyard, far apart from the hell hound, walked a lone figure. Each step was inaudible, as though to person in question wasn't even touching the ground. The moonlight reflected brightly off of his eyes, similar to an animal looking into a night-vision camera. The figure stopped walking, looking as though he was trying to listen to something. Bump bump... Bump bump... The person grinned as he heard these sounds, sharp fangs hiding behind his lips. What he heard, what he was grinning about, wasn't the sounds of another individual cursing about the locale. No, it was something else. Something more towards the listener's liking. He could hear the stranger's heartbeat. Even though it was a slow, calm beat, it was still a heartbeat. And a beating heart meant blood. A calm heartbeat or a fearful fast heartbeat didn't matter. All that mattered was the fact that there was in fact a heartbeat.

This individual began to move towards the sound of the heartbeat. As he moved his entire body changed into a swarm of bats. The bats reached a tree near the hell hound and hung on the branches to observe.

 

The hell hound looked around, this place reeked and was getting on his nerves. He heard the sounds of flapping behind him and drew out his blades ready to strike, only to realize it was just some bats. He moaned and withdrew his blades and walked off, "Thats it , not only does this place stink to high heaven, but already I'm getting spooked..."

Then he realized something. Why would a whole group of bats just decided to hang from a tree? Ithe. Again it was just a coincidence. But to be safe he turned back as his eyes turned to full red, he blasted fire from his left hand at the tree.

 

The swarm of bats all flew away from the fire. They spread out and then all gathered behind Blaze. The bodies of each bat collected together until they formed the human body of the vampire. "What sort of easy prey is this, I wonder?" He began to speak. "That would be so fearful of a group of bats?" He began to calmly walk towards his opponent. "Shall I toy with you for a bit while I work up my appetite? Or would you rather I drain you of all your blood now?" Leon stopped himself right in front of Blaze. Far away he heard a sound. "Either way I suppose I must hurry. It would appear that the dead do not like our intrusions." Leon then threw a punch straight at Blaze. If Blaze's body was durable enough, he would be knocked through the mausoleum that was behind the two. If not, then Leon's hand would simply punch a bloody hole through Blaze and kill him right off the bat.

>This doesn't count as one of my two undead support posts, does it? I wouldn't think that it would since I was simply pointing out that they don't like people so they should arrive at the fight at some point.<

 

"Fearful? I knew it was something unnatural, I've seen scarier things that friggin bats Edward," Blaze commented, but found himself flying through the air and into the mausoleum. There was silence for a moment, it might have seemed if Leon had won. But this fight had jus begun. A howl could be heard from the hole to the mausoleum, which quickly led to a dark red wolf with yellow eyes, flames on the back of each leg, and it's tail eclipsed in fire jumping through hole barking at the vampire, going faster and faster till he pounced onto the wolf, his mouth was filling up with fire.

 

"What is it they say? Never put yourself in a position for an enemy to hurt you?" Leon muttered to himself. Blaze being in the air, and with no way to control his movement once he left the ground, gave Leon the perfect opportunity to move under Blaze and catch his body. Not giving Blaze a chance to struggle, or even burn him with the fire currently surrounding some of his body parts, Leon threw Blaze off in some random direction.

Leon ran after the enemy he just threw and jumped up into the air above him, aiming to stomp him into the ground.

 

Blaze tumbled, stopping when he hit a tree. He got up on his feet and looked at the Vanpire approaching him through the air. The wolf growled andy then released a giant bark, sound waves hurling at the foe. That was only part of this, a mere distraction, a one might say. His mouth was filled with hot, red flames, and then the wolf sent a giant inferno of Fire at the Vampire.

But after the attack he had just released, Blaze stumbled a bite, almost loosing his stance. He looked at the inferno, not his best, but it will do. This vampire was getting on his nerves.

 

Not in any real position to dodge the flames, Leon didn't have many options available to him. He reached behind him, grabbed his cape, pulled it in front of him, and let the flames envelop him. When the flames stopped, Leon's body fell to the ground. He quickly stamped out the flames on his cape and clothes before they were damaged too badly. There were a couple of burn marks on his face and other open parts of his skin. Looking around Leon quickly moved towards a shadowy area. Once he stepped inside the shadows, his body completely vanished, as though it left the area.

 

Blaze transformed back into his human form, still on his knees, taking note that the vampire had disappeared. "So what? You scared of a little barking bat boy?! Huh?! This is why you bat brains shouldn't mess with a wolf, you may be able to knock a good punch, but you get scared of a little bark?! HAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA!" Blaze laughed, "Just like those vampires from that f***ing stupid movie series!"

He got to his feet and drew out two of his katanas and searched for the vampire, growling a bit, as his pupils dialated as he search for the vampire, he was ready to kill.

 

"Scared? I apologize if I gave off the appearance of fear. I've long since discarded something like that." Leon's voice spoke to Blaze from all directions. "Using the shadows is not me retreating in fear. It is me using any method to win. Whether you consider it fair or not is not my concern. I will do whatever allows me to kill you."

Leon's body jumped out from a shadow behind Blaze. He placed his hands on Blaze's shoulders to flip over the individual. As Leon was moving above Blaze he bit into human and caused him to bleed. Once he had completely passed Blaze Leon disappeared into another shadow, ready to strike again.

 

Blaze however, managed to grab Leon's leg before the vampire could vanish back into his method of hiding, and sent acrobatic vampire to the ground, and then drew out his three katanas, holding the third with his teeth, "Now don't think you are the only one with huge badass strength," he mumbled as he posed to strike. He spun the two katana that were being held by his hands and spun them faster till he stopped,

He then made an x with them and sliced, sending a fiery X toward the vampire to take him down with, "I call this the 2nd Degree Burn,"

 

"You look like a complete moron holding that sword in your mouth." Leon snarked as the attack came rushing towards him. Instead of dodging the attack like a sane person, Leon simply walked towards it and Blaze. And to any observer's surprise, the attack phased through Leon's body as though he wasn't even there.

"A word of advice." Leon began as he kicked off of the ground. The ground broke beneath Leon's feet as he used his strength to move instantly next to Blaze. "Don't waste your time with attacks that have such obvious set ups and openings." Leon slammed the palm of his left hand on the bloody wound of Blaze's that he made earlier. The strength of the hit would cause anybody's legs to buckle and collapse from the pressure. Leon then kicked Blaze away from him as he put he left hand up to his mouth and licked the blood off of it. The burn marks caused by Blaze began to vanish from Leon's skin.

 

As Blaze kicked back, he thrusted his swords into the ground which prevented him from flying into to a grave. He got back on to his feet and licked his wounds like a dog, his wolf instinct kicking in again. He looked at the vampire and threw a blade at him, "You seem to be all classy and shit, how about a....fair...sword fight, unless your gonna break handle..." He said as he placed his remaining swords in his hands, "So?"

 

"Sure, I'm game." Leon replied as he caught the sword that was thrown at him. "Although I am a little curious as to why you would give your opponent a weapon he can kill you with. Oh well, human logic I suppose." Leon took a step back, standing on top of a shadow. His body sunk into it like the ground beneath his feet was quicksand.

From another shadow behind Blaze, Leon's body appeared out of the ground as he slashed the sword towards Blaze's neck.

 

Blaze simply ducked and spun kicked at the vampire behind him. "HAAAAAHAAHAHAHAHHAH! I already knew you would try to slice my neck! And as for human? We are both monsters!" he yelled as he swung his blades at the Vampire.

"You vampires and your failed sneak attacks,"

 

Leon's body sunk into another shadow that Blaze knocked him into. His body appeared from a shadow beneath Blaze. He knocked Blaze away before turning into a giant bat to follow. As the two of them moved throughout the graveyard, Leon finally saw them. The undead finally appeared in the graveyard. The corpses would not be friendly to either competitor but Leon had the advantage at the moment by being in the air. Several of the undead grabbed Blaze to hold him down and attack him. Leon took that moment as his chance to knock a decisive blow to Blaze. He returned to his normal form and swung down the sword at Blaze.

 

One thing about the undead was, they were extremely fragile. Blaze used his strength to pull the arms off and then used his swords to slice the arms holding his les and then barrel rolled away from the vampire. The undea were fully, fully pissed, as they grabbed Leon when he was on the ground. Blaze shrugged and jumped onto a tree and watched the struggle.
