Basically been adding colour to manga scans. Tell me what you think... (btw, did it on a tablet har har har har... you know who you are)

The white space between the characters and the greenery is kind of distracting (was that an effect you were trying to do?) and I've noticed you kind of slacked off on the trees a bit at the top and a bit on the bushes.
I've never really done a manga scan before but thinking about it, it could be kind of easy, though I may be wrong.

    Colour Erase=White
Brush Effect= Overlay or Grain Merge w/ black to make the lines clearer (though it seems clear enough)
Brush Effect= Behind w/ what ever colours you want. This will leave the black from the drawings alone while you can colour everything else in.

Of course what I've said is in Gimp talk so I'm not sure about Photoshop (yet) and just thinking about it now, colour erase may not work as well since Manga pages aren't always completely white.

All I can say is keep an eye on what you are colouring in, and if you get more advanced, try adding a colour or two more on some images instead of it being mono colour. Though that is kind of hard to do as Manga's don't usually do colours and when they are, it's kind of mono coloured on images as well.

Overall you've done a good job. I like this coloured in scan but it isn't the best I've seen. I'd like to see more if you're still experimenting with page scans to see how much you can improve.

    EDIT

Oh Crap, don't I feel like an Idiot!
This was in Traditional Showcase, In conclusion, ignore what I said above the "EDIT".
If that colouring was done by hand, it is simply amazing. How do you do it without leaving any stroke marks? I'm still going with the White around the characters as distracting and... basically the first paragraph.

Wow pulse that's pretta smexy right there, you should just try testing the coloring tool a bit more, and contract it a bit. I'm loving it.
