    I wanna know what you guys think about Creating and Celebrating a Birthday for the whole site in general. There is a poll so you guys can decide if its a good idea. Also if you say you want a celebration post what date

    I don't see why not. Here's the thing, do we celebrate the birthday of KHPlanet or KH-3.net[what the site used to be]

    An entire birthday-bash seems a bit... over-zealous. I think a simple Happy Birthday Thread in the 'General' section where you can give the forum a quick shout out (along with other members during their birthdays) would be a little more time conserving and appropriate.

    Just a thought...

    Are the two not simply the same place under two different names? I mean, just because I change my name, it doesn't mean I wasn't born on the same date.

    Anyways, the idea of doing something festive for it is kinda cool.

    So the thing is i still need a date.
    Here is two ideas:
    1.) We can have it on the day the site was created
    2.) Or we can have it when very first non staff-made post was made
    Thing is for the first one someone is going to have to help me look for the creation date

    That's difficult thing, a lot of old posts have vanished either if they've been deleted or over time have been relocated some how. I can find out KHPlanet's birthday, kh-3.net will be a little more difficult.

    Wasn't KH-3 just the original name of the forums that accompanying the main site though? I could have sworn it was that way when I joined.

    Both the main site and the forums were kh-3.net(apparently a site even before that for final fantasy) but when TD bought the site(to my knowledge about five months before I joined) he began converting the site over to KHPlanet.

    As I just told Corbinek, I don't think I'll be able to gain that exact date, nonetheless I'll try to do my research, but I don't think I will be able to. The only true date I can promise is when KHPlanet became, i.e. when KH-3.net became KHPlanet.

    Well as my first basic course of action I am going to try to put this on the calendar. Now do you guys just want a one day thing or string of multiple days? Also the date is still undecided. And i also want to know what you guys want to do. Im open to suggestions and will probably make a poll on what you guys want to do unless you guys all decide on one thing before hand.

    -.- We are still the same site. The name shouldn't even matter and besides, we are better off with the current name that we are using anyways... and just make it one day only, the exact date when it was first made.

    The site under its original KH-3.net name was created 2/4/2007 (as that is the date the original co-admins joined). I cannot recall when the site name changed and new management came in, only that it happened (well, duh >_<). I could probably try and find some old staff threads from that time and see when the annnouncement was made, but I think the date I listed above is what's really important anyhow, as far as this goes.
