help with coliseum

    I just got this game. I am new to kingdom hearts and so far I love the game. I haven't had any trouble until now. I am at the coliseum tournament and I'm having trouble beating it. I am playing as Terra on the beginner setting. my stats are:
    lvl: 19
    exp: 5525
    next level: 173
    hp: 75/75
    strength: 16
    Magic: 13
    defense: 13
    resistance is 0 on everything except blizzard. blizzard is 20

    Please help. I also have a rather stupid question. Can you only save at the save spots or is there another way?

    Save spots and when traveling between worlds.

    As for the arena, you just need to make sure you have some good commands. And using different command styles help.
