Hex Editing Video Game Saves

    My apologies if this is in the wrong section, please assist me in moving it if necessary.

    Does anyone hex edit save data for their video games? Hex editing is, in a nutshell, changing data values in save data to grant yourself, say, additional health points, or 99 of that item that's really annoying to steal (or perhaps is impossible to obtain through normal means).


    Does anyone have any opinions on the matter? (ie. "That's a terrible thing to do!" or "What a time saver!")
