    So, you just cropped it and change the color of it and added text, right?

    There was a lot of smudging and brushes beleive it or not, but because of the brown colored back ground its kinda hard to tell
    I applied the image several times and added scanlines on one, but it looked horrible...

    but yeah no i didn't just crop and change color

    The first one is the better of the two. Text looks pretty all right. But the sig is pretty boring. There's nothing of interest going on in the background.

    I'm really a novice when it come to using stocks.
    so will admit i hated this when i first looked at the outcome
    but its okay,really very simple and easy, but still not very good.
    i really would appreciate help with how to use stocks properly

    Very simple i'm glad your starting to mess around with colours more.
    Your text is horrible though, text should always be close to the focal point and the fonts are very dull. With a tag like this though you wouldn't really need text.

    I like the first one better. The purple text is all I see different other than the lighting. But both are still good
