How do I get finish moves that AREN'T gold rush?!

    I've played through with Ventus and Aqua and now I'm on Terra. I can see that I probably could have had a different finish move with Ventas, but it's too late now. Terra has NO points towards the red bar and getting enough CP is REALLY hard while trying to avoid money.

    I'd really like to try a move that's not Gold Rush/Suprise, etc.

    Any secrets? Right now, I'm using distance magic and techniques to try to kill enemies from far away. I thought I'd use the command board, but that levels the abilities without leveling my finish bar. Eventually, I'll run out of commands to level since I'm avoiding money. The only thing I can think to do is play the command board each time I run out and hope I get a new ability.

    ... The Finishing moves that are yet to be unlocked have requirements. You may need a certain amount of munny to unlock the next finishing move, defeat certain amount of enemies, earn a certain amount of cp, the requirements are endless. You will have to figure out which one is which. You may have to activate a Shotlock or use a Command Style a certain number of times too.

    Thank you for replying. However, I already know the requirement for his non-money finisher is CP gain (at least, that's what the guides seem to say). My problem is that each game I play, the first finisher reached without question is Gold Rush. It makes me think I'm doing something wrong. At the very least if someone has a good trick for this, I'd appreciate it. I'm sick of Gold Rush. Not to mention it's a pretty crappy finisher chain to begin with.

    You are not doing anything wrong. I fall in the same category too. You and I collect a lot of munny so Gold Rush and Surprise will be our first finishing move that we collect. The others however will be a little bit harder and you will have to do a little bit of experimenting to get the other finishing moves. This means that you will have to stay away from the Command Board game.

    Oh yea. Do not avoid trying to obtain munny. You may want to have some in case you want to buy more deck cards to try to have access to higher and stronger deck cards.
