Hi, I'm a tad new here, but this was something I'd thought up for Valentine's Day. It was just sitting in the back of my head for three days, so I had to type it out and really got into it:

Sora's knees buckled with the force of his landing, and he fell forward into the sand on his hands and knees. Beside him, Roxas was pitched into the ground as well.
Roxas was the first to move, getting his feet under him slowly, like a man who had been hurt. Sora and he were fully upright at the same moment, however, on account of Sora's sharp reflexes. Sora picked up the Keyblade as he was getting to his feet and slung it across his back.
"Namine," Roxas gasped, out of breath, and he staggered forward. Sora caught him by the arm.
"You need to be careful, Roxas," he said. "This isn't your world."
Roxas ripped his arm angrily away from Sora. "Keep your hands off of me," he growled. "It's your fault all this happened."
    "My fault—?"
    "Sora!"
    "Roxas!"
Both boys turned simultaneously to see the two girls running straight for them, Kairi waving her arms over her head like an idiot to get their attention. Behind them trailed Riku, good-natured, brooding Riku, laughing at Kairi's foolishness.
"Who're they?" Roxas asked suspiciously, then looked at Sora, perplexed. "Sora?"
"We're home," Sora said, relief across his features.
Kairi slammed into Sora, tackling him to the point where he almost hit the sand again. He laughed and hugged her just as fiercely as she hugged him, lifting her off her feet and spinning her in a circle. The blonde reached Roxas at the same time Kairi reached Sora, and Roxas embraced her, surprised.
    "Namine—?"
"I missed you, Keyblade Master," Kairi whispered to Sora.
"And I you, Princess," he murmured in her ear.
Meanwhile, Roxas was getting over his surprise. "Namine!" he exclaimed, hugging her close. "By the gods, I'd thought I'd lost you! How—how—?"
Kairi stepped away from Sora as Riku drew near, though kept one hand. Sora was surprised, but did not care; in fact, it felt good.
"When Riku came back," she said, "he brought Namine with him. He knew she belonged with us, somehow, and wasn't about to let her stay lost. He found her with Ansem, and when he beat him, he brought her back. Turns out she's my Nobody, you know how they get when there's no evil in the opposite's heart?"
"Yeah," Sora said, with half a glance at Roxas. "Roxas is mine."
"We're not your possessions," Roxas growled over Namine's shoulder.
"Indeed you're not," Riku said, looking around at everyone. "The Nobodies resulting from such hearts develop into real people, with hearts and souls and minds. They feel as we do."
"Damn right we do," Roxas said. He let Namine go—she stood beside him, hands entwined—and faced Sora. "You cannot claim us, for our hearts are our own."
Sora nodded. "I understand. I've traveled with you, Roxas, and I've fought you. I know that you're different."
Roxas inclined his head, a tad surprised. “You're wiser then you seem to be. Perhaps that's why the Organization keeps failing.”
“Yeah, what is up with them anyway?” Kairi asked, frowning. Sora wrapped his arms around her shoulders real casual-like, and she looked up admiringly at him. He smiled a bit, but looked over at Riku. The white-haired boy gave no indication that he cared about what they did, however; in fact, he smiled genuinely and nodded. There was something in his eyes that said, I know, and I was never interested. She's my friend, and nothing more.
Sora looked over at Roxas. The blonde-haired boy seemed to be debating.
“The Organization,” he said finally, “are all Nobodies made the way we were.” He looked down at Namine, and she smiled. He seemed to draw comfort from her presence and continued. “What they want is only to destroy the hearts—no, the souls—of the people who did this to us. Made us outsiders. That's why they were after you, but you're much stronger than they believe. And—“ Roxas struggled for a moment, but failed with his words and looked helplessly at Namine. She laughed at him and looked at Sora.
“He means to say that your heart is bigger than most,” she said. Roxas nodded.
“You're very kind,” Sora said, a bit shyly. Kairi smiled.
“I could say the same of you,” Roxas said. “But it's not all of you. When you wield the Kingdom Key, your worries are all focused on one point. You become brave and fearless and take out your opponents with ease.” He looked at Kairi and Riku. “Because, it seems, that you have a reason to fight for the Kingdom.”
Sora nodded, acknowledging Roxas's gratitude. That had to be what it was; as Sora had suddenly been thrown back into Destiny Islands, he had grabbed the back of Roxas's shirt, pulling Roxas with him and away from one of the Organization's members, who'd been posed to strike at Roxas, to kill him. Sora had saved his life, and Kairi and Riku had given him back his reason to live.
“So they don't want Kingdom Hearts?” Sora asked.
“Ansem does,” Riku said. Roxas nodded. “The Organization doesn't care. They're only working with Ansem because they think he has the power to overthrow you, Sora. They're tracking their opposites one by one.”
“Exactly,” Roxas said. Then he fell to brooding. “I wonder if they'll track Axel and Xion's now....”
Sora clapped him on the back, releasing Kairi to do so. “They won't, I guarantee it. Sorry, man. But, if you want, you and Namine can stay with us. Namine can teach Kairi how to draw, and you can help me and Riku as a wielder of the Keyblades.”
Roxas's eyes widened. “You're not just gonna cast us away?”
Sora looked confused. “Why would we do that?”
Roxas gestured to himself and Namine. “We're Nobodies. We don't belong here, or anywhere. All we've ever had was each other.”
Sora grinned. “Nobodies or not, you're welcome here. I'm sure King Mickey would be glad to have you both. He was quite grateful to Namine when she saved me, Donald, and Goofy in Castle Oblivion.”
Now Namine's eyes were huge. “You remember that?” she asked, startled.
Sora put his hands behind his head. “I promised you that I wouldn't forget!” he reminded her. “It's not easy to erase my memory.” He held out his hand. “What d'you say? Will you stay?”
Roxas hesitated, looking around at them all. Then he took Sora's hand. “I'd love to.”
He and Sora shook on it. Then they looked at each other, dead serious, and began laughing. Kairi and Namine smiled, and Riku grinned.
“Great!” the King of Darkness said. He flipped his long hair out of his eyes. “There's plenty of room here, Sora, King Mickey sure did reward you nicely with that mansion.”
Sora laughed and looked at Riku. “That he did,” he agreed. “Think he knew this was gonna happen?”
Riku shrugged. “That mouse knows more than I ever will,” he said. “It wouldn't surprise me if he did.” Then he frowned. “Had. Does. Shut up, okay, I was never good at past and present tense anyway.”
Sora and Roxas laughed. Kairi looked so amused, yet so out of things to say. Namine shook her head, then looked up at the sky.
“It's noon here,” she said. “We could go swimming.”
“Beach party!” Sora yelled delightedly. The others enthusiastically agreed, and they all set out for the mansion. However, on the side of the house, Kairi pulled Sora to the side.
“I really missed you,” she said softly, reaching up to stroke Sora's cheek.
Sora smiled softly. “Was my welcome not good enough?” He brushed his lips softly against hers for a moment, then kissed her more strongly, unconsciously pinning her against the wall. Kairi didn't seem to care, however; she wrapped her arms around Sora's neck and kissed him back. “I missed you more than anything. Every minute of every day. It drove Donald and Goofy up the wall.”
Kairi raised her eyebrows. “You got on Goofy's nerves?” she asked, surprised. “That's pretty hard to do. Now Donald I can imagine.”
“Goofy was a good friend about it,” Sora admitted. “But it got sort of old after a while, I guess. Not for me, though. I missed you the moment I left and missed you more with every passing minute.”
“Good enough for me,” she murmured, then pulled him close to kiss him again.

Meanwhile, in the mansion, Roxas and Namine were having a similar reunion.
Namine pulled away. “What's wrong?” she asked.
Roxas shrugged. “Nothing. That's just it, there isn't a problem at all, when usually there's one problem or another.” He hugged Namine close. “I thought for a long time that I would never see you again.”
“So did I,” Namine said. “Axel promised that you'd be back, but Ansem took me away before you returned, and I was so afraid. I didn't know what to think when Riku found me; even if Axel told you what had happened, he could've never anticipated him coming. I thought there was no hope, and then you and Sora fell from the sky and landed here where Kairi and me were.”
Roxas was quiet for a second. “You have Sora to thank for that. When I realized you weren't with Ansem, that someone had come after him and he'd sent someone after me, I lost all hope. Larxene was gonna kill me, and I was gonna let her, but he grabbed me as he fell and pulled me with him....”
Namine looked startled. “I thought Sora had already killed Larxene,” she said.
“So did we both,” Roxas said, troubled. “But it doesn't look like they can reach us here.”
“They can't,” Namine said, moving closer with a small smile. “It's just us here, now.”
Roxas smiled a little and bent to touch his lips to hers.
