KH 358/2 Days: Help Thread

sup everyone im new. so im stuck in ruler of the sky and i get tired of wasting time destroing his tail just so he can finish me of with his swipe attack, i try to get away, sometimes it works and sometimes not but he always gets me, is he weak to some type of magic?

 

What day are you on? I'm still doing missions with Xion in Twilight Town (just started playing. lol).

 

You need to hit his tail until he stops flying and opens his box and uses his fireballs attack. When he does this, lock on to him and fly down low, avoiding the fireballs, then fly up again and hack away at the jewel on his chest (a limit break does incredible amounts of damage here). After a while he'll get angry and start flying around and creating ice pillars all over the place (I recommend healing and getting as far away as possible when he does this).

Once you've destroyed all of his tail, it'll be a lot harder to attack the jewel on his chest as he moves around at double the speed and his attacks do a little bit more damage (a level 5 cure and a cura will help). Thats all the help I can give I'm afraid. Apart from, it would help to have lots of cures equipped, one or two elixers and a keyblade gear that allows for lots of aerial combos or has a good attack range. Hope this helps.

i beat him, thanks. i used the curas they helped a lot. i have been using potions up until now

 

You should save up as many Potions as possible and synthesise a whole load of Hi-Potions. Do the same with ethers to make hi-ethers. I'd recommend having about 12 level 3 cures, 4 level 2 curas, 6 level 2 firas and as many firagas as possible at the point in the game you're at. Also, save your elixers for just before a boss battle if you're low on mp for your magic spells. You should also cast one cura at the beginning of each boss battle from now on.

 

Mission 18

ive completed the game and have all the characters but sora and apprentally u have to get 100% on all missions to get the thing in moggle shop, my problem is that on mission 18, i cant find the last Organization Emblem thing, i dunno why but i looked everywhere and cant find it so if anyone has any idea on this just lemme know.

 

I found that mission annoying as well. You know the green rings that appear around the emblems? Well you need to get all the emblems whilst keeping the ring around them, so its basically like chaining but with emblems. Watch this vid if you still can't do it.
