KH3 won't be seen until atleast "2012"?

I believe I made a similar thread a while back about this.

Anyways, I have slightly different predictions on this...

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep: Sept. 7, 2010
Kingdom Hearts re.Coded: Winter 2010(Japan), Spring 2011(NA, possibly Europe)
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Spring 2011(Japan) Fall 2011(NA)
Kingdom Hearts 3, trailer: Winter 2011
Kingdom Hearts 3: Winter 2012/2013(Japan)

In another source located I have found that Tetsuya Normura already has the story idea and such for Kindom Hearts 3 and as stated above the same team that worked on BBS are able to create the console game very easily, so enough demands from fans, they make make our concolse game.

Normura did state that once the current Final Fantasy project is finished, they would spring to KH3, now as long as they do not run into delay to much on that project, everything else, granted it runs slowly.


Square Enix and especially Normura is a huge fan of surprises though, and has prooven sometimes a bit of a liar to keep his surprise. Secret may be that he has the story idea and the such and just waiting on the release of the Final Fantasy title, then it be a start on KH3.


Now away from all that, with mention of console, I believe none of us need to worry too much, KH3 will most likely be released with PS3. If some of you remeber correctly Normura is not a huge fan of brand new consoles, why are we getting 3DS, because Nitendo asked him to make that game.

But during the time of KH2, it came out when PS3 was new, Normura said then he didn't trust the console yet with it being so new and there was no point. So more than likely since during the release we may have PS4, it'll still probably come out on PS3.

BBS- September 7 2010
Re Coded- Late 2010 like holiday season mabey in japan, spring 2011 NA
KH 3D- I dont think this is coming for a while! late 2011 holiday season JAP. summer 2012 NA
KH 3- Dissapointingly early 2013 in jap late 2013 in NA. I beleive a early trailer will be released by 2011 E3 or 2012

Drop KHIII please. You guys are trying to predict the unpredictable. If you want it that bad just wait. It's like we will get a KH game every year until we reach that point. Odd's are Nomura is running outta ideas for xehanort's story, so we will see the end of in KH3 pretty soon here. Odd's are we will get it between now and before we all turn old. so just chill

 

i honestly don't see why everyone wants it now so badly. i'm willing to wait for the simple fact that we know it's coming.
i'm more worried about the storyline and how much the gameplay will change.


and in my opinion- the official announcement will come late 2011 and the game itself will be out 2015/2016

 

Which teachnically we're getting, Normura has stated that BBS could be put on a a huge console such as PS2 or PS3 and fans wouldn't know the difference, plus it is a huge game in the series.

I actually sort of view it as a console main story game because if you look at the secret stories.

At the end of KH1 you got secret movie for KH2
At the end of KH2 you get secret movie for BBS
End of BBS(if you go and watch the Japanese video) you get video for KH3

Now it might even be likely if I look at things now and they stay on this 4 year track, that KH3 won't show until 2014, 2013ish for Japan.

You people are blowing it wayyy out of perspective. There is no way if a game has been announced and has a trailer by 2011 it will come out 2015 or 16. It doesn't take that long! Kh3 in my eyes will most definetly come out 2013 in jap early and 2013 late NA. Simple as that. Normura has a thing with his games that ive noticed. Early release in jap late in Na.

 

Last time I checked. KH DAYS was a proper KH game. *pulls out notepad* yes it was.
We haven't played a KH game that continued with sora's story sense 2006 though.

All of them are really "main story" games. they fill in things we didn't know about the past and whatno

We really didn't get a video for KH3, that was more like the end of KH2 with a few more added things.

Kingdom Hearts III, KH3, Kingdom Hearts 3. will be released when its ready. so that could be between now and whenever. On a realistic stand point we will see KH3 in 2012-13 or early 14.

and you don't realize that KH3 is on hold. It hasn't been announced and there is no trailer. We don't know when its coming out. and if you remember the KH2 trailer came out in 2002..KH2 didn't come out until 2006. 4 years. 2011 trailer is out 4 years from that is 2015 so its realistic buddy.

 

Well think about it. that was 2002 its freakin 2010. Games are developed a whole lot faster then back then. For example Cod. CODMW2 came out last christmas. Black ops...i beleive is coming out the same time this year. They developed it in a YEAR!!!! Game announced 2011, game comes out end of 2012 in jap or early 2013. and it comes out late 2013 in NA.

A game that should take longer than the console games as well.

I guess you could consider Days to be more of a side game than anything else. Simply because it didn't have much too add that would be relevant to Sora's story. For example:

BBS: Why the things happen in KH1
KH1: The beginning of Sora's story
CoM: What happens right after KH1
KH2: Continuing Sora's story after CoM
Coded: (This is more of a guess since I haven't played it or really even know what happens) Giving more information as to what Sora will need to do in future games

Maybe it won't even come out. The Xehanort Saga could be completely finished with several games on handheld systems, although I highly doubt it.

I figure Coded is more necessary than Days.

Since Square has been making more games on handhelds, I don't know if KH will ever truly finish. I think it will be Square's next cash cow in case they can't make more money off of FFVII.
