KHP Rules Revised

I'm slightly intrigued by one of the newer rules, however, just to be sure that I'm not interpreting it differently than what it truly means I shall ask a question to clear it up

So with regards to the new "Bumping rule", I am officially allowed to write in any older thread, regardless if they are stickied or not, so long as I wasn't the person who created the thread ? (If so, perhaps there should be a restriction that it has to be on the first page.)

Here's an example:

Say if I were perusing through the Kingdom Hearts Section, specifically in the Kingdom Hearts I part, and I were to notice a thread, that was not stickied, that was older than one month, am I allowed to post in it ?

 

Precisely. We came to a conclusion that there are many old threads that could make interesting discussion still still. Now some forums such as RP will still contain the bumping rule only because if you don't have an ooc die out ever, you could remain dwelled on it and not create new RP's.

 

XD I would like to point out that you can spam all you want in the KHP Member chat thread... just don't do it TOO much.

 

Actually that wouldn't be spam because it follows the purpose of that thread.

I think that some of you are starting to forget some of the rules so I think that I will reintroduce the rules that Vox have stated before

I remember that one of you told another to let a thread to just go on ahead and die but since we are allowed to bump threads that is 9 months old, we do have the choice to continue the discussion, especially if it is interesting. -_- And please post properly. No slang. This is not Facebook, Tweeter (XD Went old man there) or MySpace MyFace. ^_^ Thank you, God bless and have a bless day.

Actually it is "have started". Granted it has started, but the rules have started. Now "had started" is leaning towards a little improper, but that's not the point.

And technically "zetta" is slang. Slang is defined as word or words used informally. Is it rule breaking not exactly, but you shouldn't do it.

Try to be a little more mature with your posting, please and thank you. Also for the main reason one should be posting in this thread is...
1.) you're reminding people about the rules
2.) you have a question.

 

I don't care if you say zetta. XD I was thinking that it was your signature word. Now when I was thinking of slang, I was thinking along this path:

"HEY GUYS! Thiz iz yo shawty, Rikkay. U kno what u want. Thiz iz fo sur. I want u 2 be a part of my group. Letz get sillay. Now Plz/Pleaz/ Plox listen to meh."

We can bump threads If they're 9 months or lower?

 

No any thread(except those that were grandfathered in to the old rules. You can't bump your own thread. Some forums have bumping rules, for example RP and Tradittional Showcase do have a different bumping thread rule.

Well seeing as the rules have been revised you don't need to worry about it except bumping you own thread. This is when you post in an ld thread that the last post in it has a number date versus # weeks ago...

 

I've got a question about avatars and signatures.

Is it allowed to use animated gif. files as avatars or signatures? I don't remember if there has ever been such a rule that it's not allowed, but better to check it 'cause I'm unsure about it.

 

Nah you can use them they can't be inappropriate, its just a matter if the site will run the animation, it should though if not Ican try to get TD to add the plugin for it.

 

Okay, thanks for this. I just wondered because many sites prohibit the use of animated gifs on their site. I'll try one out soon.
