KHPlanet Mission

Hey guys,

So I've made it my goal to have a few things done by the end of summer, but I need your help. So let's work as a team! Below is a list of things to get done. I need sugestions on how to get them done while I also need you all to work on achieving this mission...

• Get Social Groups Active Again.
• Get the rep system up and running again.
• All Off Topic and Kingdom Hearts Forums have active threads-meaning the entire first page must contain only active threads a month younger
• Feature Tradittional Showcase creations on the main site.
• Gain some dedicated KH Fans to be reporters for KHPlanet
• Get old members back on the forums and have them active again

Besides this list more could pop up between now and next September, so let us all work hard as a team to achieve this list.

That they visit once or every other day and participate in sone things or major a few posts

 

That's something currently a work in progress. According to TD the minute he finishes his client work this is just a few things(I'll just tell all of you now so maybe to bug him to get it done )

First Step Changes-
Formatting for the main site
-Members will be able to upload their own content from videos, photos, creative writing, and news
-The main site team news will be the featured thing still but now it's easier to display member news and give full credit
-Game information
-eventually GFX stock to allow visitors to get free sigs, avvies, wallpapers, etc.
-TD's own kingdom hearts collectables page(work in progress-don't have all the information for it yet)

Step 2 Changes-
Forums
-the discussed forums changes
-possibility update
-server update(?)

Step 3-
Appearance
-new banners
-new logo
-new general layouts
-to be more towards kingdom hearts
-contests for members to enter a new banner and logo

Step 4-
Anything Else that may come up


Currently however the things myself and forums and main site staff are concerned about are the changes that can be made without TD's powers. Those specifically can be posted in Vox's thread. As for this thread the changes I listed are some I'm taking charge of and would like people to step up and help with, also take charge, and any feedback or suggestions on how to go about these changes.

 

A lot are leaving because like Ventus, "They're not a fan of Kingdom Hearts" or "I don't have time for an online life". Then there are some that do(not a lot). The biggest thing that annoys me is you get members who think they can run a better site than this site, then over like msn convinces members to join the site, then when their site dies(which it pretty much always does) they don't come back for whatever reason.

 

The pattern of people leaving has been quite common, and I've been here long enough to analyze it all.

I'm hoping/estimating that this June, E3, our activity will increase because I'm expecting news possibly a video for KH3. 3D, re.Coded, and BBS announcements was when our activity was the highest.KH3 being the next major title, I'm expecting/hoping for more activity.

 

We used to have someone who could. But she was active in summer 2008 and only came back a month in 2009. She has not returned nor have I kept track on her since then. I can look into trying to find her again, but Id rather find somebody who I know for sure will stick around for a very long time.
