    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

This is from inspiration and a memory from remembering one of Silvertrump's/LivingDeath's roleplay. It was actually was called "Entering the KH3.net" when he was in charged of it but it quickly died out. I was thinking of bringing back this roleplay but this time, it would be new and improved with a whole lot of options and that it would allow all of us to develop a plot. What do all of you think? In "Entering the KH3.Net" it was about what would happen if this site ever went rebellious and developed a mind of it's own and sucked us into the forum world. My idea would be this:

    KHPLANET: HEARTS AS ONE PLOT

Welcome to KHPLANET! The world where all fantasy comes to life! This is where everyone are able to enjoy themselves and come within the world to enjoy their entertainment. Whether it is in playing games, debates or fighting against each other, this planet will keep you busy. However, do remember that you can suffer within and that you may end up losing yourself... you may even lose your own power and become corrupt. Still, survivability with your friends is the only way. Don't die...

    Rules:

    1. No powerplaying or god-modding.
    2. Six sentences or more.
    3. No Spamming.
    4. :D You can create a template based on yourself! If you don't want to do that, you can create your own character if you like.
    5. Do not bring back or use characters such as Xemnas or the like unless you have my permission. Characters from other games can be used within the roleplay for more fun.
    6. There are many classes to choose from and you can choose any one of those classes.
    7. Everyone will have a keyblade of their own choosing if they like. Kingdom Key, Oblivion, Oathkeeper, Ultima Weapon, Kingdom Key D, Omega Weapon, X-Blade, Master Xehanort's Keyblade, and Keyblade of People's Hearts are forbidden.
    8. If you lose a fight, do realize that your character will go through a "Cleansing" process where your character will lose a battle/ get killed in battle or if your group that you are a part of loses, then your character gets weaker and is sent right back into battle. If your character ends up using all of his strength while in battle and dies or loses a battle, then your character will stay out of the world for about 5 posts. An exception is if your character is training. If the character cannot survive the "Cleansing" process, then the character will end up staying out of the world for a while.
    9. This roleplay is basically plotless but actually do have a main plot. This roleplay can go either way.
    10. No spamming.
    11. HAVE FUN!!!!

So the premise of this would be that we play ourselves with KHP as a world as the setting? I've seen something similar to this, where a forum was translated into a city.

  3. EtherealSummoner

    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

:D YES! Exactly! If you do not want to roleplay as yourself, you are allowed to make a different character instead. XD And here are the classes and the rules for it! Um... this is not all of the classes. I am just merely giving everyone many opportunities and options.

    CLASSES

    1. When starting off, you can only choose one class. You can have up to four classes for you to use. There are Primary and Evolution classes. Primary classes such as Warrior, Summoner and Mage are what you start off. Evolution classes such as High Summoner, ArchMage or Samurai are what the Primary classes can evolved into. However, once you choose your four classes, then you are unable to get another class and you cannot drop a class.

    2. Your four classes will automatically become active.

    3. If you would rather count the evolutionary class as one of your four classes instead of just evolving that primary class into the next, then that is ok too.

    4. As stated earlier, anyone can have their own initial keyblade if they so choose but they cannot have access to a whole assortment of keyblades...yet anyhow.

    5. There is also another stage called the Supreme class. This requires a certain class, skill or quest to obtain the class.

    Base/Primary Class List

    A. Fighter/Boxer: Uses their fists, knuckles, boxing gloves, legs and claws. Great Close up fighters who can fight with quick blows and massive strength.

Warriors: Using their power to cover and protect their allies. Being able to have physical defense and attack strength, they can even use two-handed swords for even more power or have the power to lower their opponents physical attack or defense.

Thieves: Low defense and magic but they excel in evasion and speed. They can steal items and they also have the ability to run away from a battle quite easily.

Pet Lover: As the name suggests, they fight alongside a type of animal to gain the upper hand. They are also the only class who is able to tame monsters.

Shooters: As a shooter, this class relies on bows and guns. In other words, they are your Archers and Gun users. Depending on the shooter wants to become, they can choose to be more physical oriented, status-inflicting oriented or Magic-Oriented. Regardless of which route they want to become, they are perfect to rely on for aim.

Inventor: This class relies on mechanics, technology and the power of their knowledge of creation to amaze their foes and allies alike. They heavily rely on their intellect, meaning that they are average in everything except their book smart.

Supporter: This class is quite average in anything; a jack-of-all trades but is still a master of none except for boosting their allies and lowering the enemies attack and/or defense powers.

    B. Mages: Are able to wield great magic. Frail in defense and body but great in spirit and spell-casting. Mages can go and choose any one of these jobs during their primary stages:

    Mage Sub Base List

Red Mage: Can use Both Light and Dark magic. They can use swords and can cast their spells more faster with Duo Chant. However, they are unable to use stronger and higher spells and usually have low to average attack power. A jack-of-all trades; Master of None.

White Mage: The support and defensive mage. Lack offensive power but is able to use their Light magic to heal, protect and to keep one from falling dead with a resurrection spell.

Black/Dark Mage: Is able to unleash their destructive force through various attack and effective damaging spells. Can die faster and has a low defense.

Blue Mage: This class learns their attacks from their enemies (NOT CHARACTERS! NPC ENEMIES!).

Time Mage: This class allows one to increase or decrease the speed of themselves, allies or opponents and can manipulate the forces of Gravity. THEY CANNOT STOP TIME ITSELF!!! (This is so to make Wayward happy. :D)

Green Mage: Uses their nature magic to strengthen themselves or their allies. Can also use their magic to inflict ill ailments and the like on foes.

Summoner: Can call on mystical beasts to help out in battle and to aid the class' comrades. Super low physical power but super high magical prowess. They also have the option to either use light magic or dark magic.

    Evolution Class List
Monks: Priests who can use healing abilities, damage a lot of enemies with their kicks and can increase their power and strengths. Lack protection but have great survival (Health-wise).

Street Fighter: Someone who actually relies on street smarts. Can also steal if the situation ever requires it. Slower than the other boxing/fighter counterparts. Would also cheat.

Karate Wrestler: This class relies on the advantage of the opponent's weight and leverage. Good speed to allow the person from getting hit sometimes and can grab and throw foes. Jumps and darts around too.

Leg Breaker: Quick on the feet, uses the legs a whole lot more than the fists. can push enemies away and can do devastating kicks.

Elementalist: Can wield the power of the elements and even nature using spirit magic to mess with the enemies. They can even have strengthen their resistance against a certain element and can make one foe weak to one. However, once an Elementalist choose which element they want to be strongly resistant against to, they will forever be stuck with that.
Battle Mage: The Battle Mage is very.... ruthless. This class can master weaponry and can use magic to enhance the physical aspect of its attacks and spells. Fast too.

Wizard/Witch: This class is very skilled in the magical aspect of alchemy. Wands for Wizards and Brooms for Witches. They also have their own pet to help them in battle. Probability is what they are all about.

Geomancer: This class relies on the land and terrain for their magic. They can go past dangerous areas such as lavas, quicksand and/or the like.

PuppetMaster: uses voodoo magic to use non-animated objects to life and uses them to aid them in battle. The PuppetMaster can also use their living objects to fill up a variety of roles and their puppets can learn skills. Not as good as a Monk in hand -to - hand combat.

Priest: Able to use healing magic but can carry large, terrifying weapons to support its holy powers.

Bishop: More magical than the Priest: Is able to have access to White and Black Magic but also have access to stronger version of the Holy spell.

Necromancer: Can call on the dead.

High Summoner: Evolved version of the Summoner. This class is able to have stronger summons and their summons will grow in power. Summoner Class only.

Paladin: Sacred in power, they are able to use white and holy magic to bring anyone to justice.

Dark Knights: Wielding the power of darkness, they can make themselves weaker to take their opponents down with them if they so choose. Being resistant to almost all status infliction and cause status damage themselves, they are the class that can use the magic, Arcana.

Gamblers: This class relies on luck. It can go either way for the class: Either they gain great benefits or they can just go broke and fall.

Dragoons: They are very close in nature to their dragon counterparts. For that, they have superior jumping abilities and have a special ability that allows them to drain a person's health and magic and heal themselves. Pet Lovers and Warriors only.

Ninjas: This class has the ability to throw their weapons and can even create illusions. Thief class only. More speed and evasion too.

Mystical Warrior: This warrior is able to fuse magic into their swords and have a little bit more exprience in swordsmanship. Also more resistant to magic. Warrior class only.

Mechanic: Inventor class only. They are more physical-oriented, using their powerful bombs, cannons, and being able to make weapons.

Copy Cat: They are able to copy a class's ability and use them for their own. Supporters and Pet Lovers only.

Joker: Unusual for a supporter, they have high speed and magic and a longer range. However, they are weak against those who are resistant against stat lowering skills and spells.

Maker: This class is more oriented in making items, keeping secret stashes and become more of a support fighter.

    Supreme Class List

The Supreme Class are the strongest classes and certain requirements are needed to obtain them. You can only learn ONE supreme class AND only ONE (With the exception of the Keybearer class).

Samurai: They are not only powerful warriors with support abilities but they are also good archers who can nullify a lot of physical attacks. The Archer and warrior class are required.

Psychics: Relying on many laws of the universe and mental energy in order to predict what the future will behold. Will require the Inventor and mage class.

Grand Summoner: High Summoner Class only. This class is so powerful that they can summon up to two at once! They can even learn summons that are very hard to control or even ally with at all.

Sovereign Summoner: Greater than the Grand Summoner themselves, with the power to summon up to four at once! For that, they can even have the power to bend space. Grand Summoner class is required.

Sole Techno: Trying to near perfection, they go to great length as to study space and technology in order to create untold weapons. They are also the only class to inflict a special status called Break just from inflicting enough attacks on the person to knock their opponents out for two posts and to render them vulnerable and more weak to attacks.

Sage: The Ultimate Red Mage. This class is able to use Light, Dark and Summoning magic. However, they are very very weak physically in strength and defense, super slow and their only weapon is the staff. They do have access to the powerful Giga Flare spell. Will require the Red Mage and High Summoner class.

Ancient Knight: This class is powerful to the point where they can use most magic and can still combine their magic into their swords. Mystical Warrior is required.

Keyblade Master: This is only IF you want to use a keyblade as a weapon. They have the power to extract the power of hearts and can perform a Keyblade Inheritance and Master Ceremony. They can also become more oriented with an element of their choosing.

Arch Mage: Requires the Elementalist class. So powerful are they in the elements that they can tap into the spirit realm. They can even have access to untold non-element magic.

The class system seems a little bit unclear to me. But I think it's in the presentation. Perhaps list it as more of a breakdown of each individual class. For example, start with say, your warrior class, describe the base class, and then cover what the Evolutions and such are. Something like that.

I would imagine that the basic classifications would be to the effect of...

Warriors; adept in physical combat. Hand-to-hand, and weapons are their specialty. They have superior physical abilities to other classes.

Mage; extremely potent as a spell caster. Capable of controlling energy so as to bend the natural world to their needs and/or desires. However, they are physically less capable than a warrior though, and cannot last as well in melee combat.

Summoners; magic users who can call upon other beings to do their bidding. They can call beasts to their side from nearby. Their summons tend to fill their combative needs, and the summoner is typically dependent on their summons for most combative needs.

At least, that's how I'd define it. I'd like to offer some more input for the class system, if I may.

    EDIT:

I think the setting premise could also be tweaked, as well as the "Status" part of the template a bit. Like, make "KHPlanet" an actual world, and rather than saying someone is a "member" you could say that they're a "resident" and such things as "elites" and "vets" could correlate, perhaps, to more significant positions within that world. And on that not, saying that a character is, say, an "admin" could correlate to being leaders and such. Something like that.

Alright, I have a minute. It looks like Summoner made main classifications (I.E. Mage type, fighter type, etc) and listed the initial sub-classes under, I.E. Blue mage, Red mage, etc. The evolutions are just a progression of the sub classes. Or so is my understanding. Summoner, if you could perhaps make a flow chart or something for each main classification with MSPaint it would go a long way towards understanding of how this works.

Are keyblades a requirement to have (At least one and at the most [x])?

  8. EtherealSummoner

    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

@Adogx: XD I'll put a list on them soon. Give me some time.

@Requiem MSPaint? ??? Hm... I'll try to do that. I really did not know how to actually make a flow chart on the computer and I never really thought of using MS Paint. As for keyblades, it is not really required. You can have one if you like but if you only have any other classes other than the keyblader, then you can only have one and only one.

@Wayward Anyways, base classes would be like the warrior, boxer, keyblader, mage (Any one of the mage such as Red Mage, White Mage, etc), thief, etc. I want to do a chart; don't really know how to do one on here; XD I am still not done explaining. As for your idea on making the KHPlanet site as an actual world, I like that. I'll accept that. As for the classes, they will be more well-defined but from what you are saying, they would still fall under the limits that they can and cannot do even if I shorten it. I'll bold Base/Primary and Evolution so everyone will know what is what. I'll actually will just rechange everything and have everything that is base under the base list and everything that is evolutionary to be under the evolutionary list. I have all of the classes; I just need more organization.

Also... any help would be appreciated in ideas and what you would like to see.

I think I'll just throw all of my thoughts onto the table. Some of it will just be echoing things I've already mentioned.

Classes; simplify the system. I think that each base class will be able to function with four or maybe five evolved classes. It also seems like the "warrior" class has a tendency to fall into a rather sharp limit as to how much they can develop. I think looking at things in a broader sense will help smoothen things out. It's probably not even totally necessary to worry so much about the classes.

Keyblades; honestly, I think we should either all be required to use one, or none of us should. There's no real sense in making a "Keybearer" class. And there will be plenty of people who gravitate towards that anyways, unless we call it an achievement that has to be earned rather than an option to be chosen.

Setting; Like I've said, setting KHP as a world of its own, perhaps set as a vibrant cityscape of some sort, would be a definite way to go. And then each sort of "member" status could, in essence, be reflective of the character's social placing. But even at that, I don't really know that it's needed, other than for show, so to speak. My next suggestion would probably nullify any real worth of it anyways, if it were applied.

Premise; rather than take the time to make a plot, I think we should use this as a sort of "In Character" chatroom type of area. Say... an RP in which the primary focus is to just interact with everyone, and ultimately, acquaint themselves with their fellow RPers on a closer level. Make something where everyone will have a place to come if they want, and even if they leave, they could always come back to it when they're gone. Maybe make this something that remains in constant activity?

In light of my above suggestion, Rule 8 should be altered. I think that we should avoid killing off each other's characters in this RP. However, I think that if a character receives drastic amount of damage to their person, the player should have to sit out for a few days as a "recuperation" period is engaged.

    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

I did the class thing so that... there won't be any problems or people going over limitations and the like.

As for the warrior class, I had a couple of base classes for that. Still, for the base part, I believe you. I am still trying to simplify the system some by trying to make a flow chart; still not working out too well. In my next post, I will have a base list and an evolution list and what evolution class comes from.

With the keyblade, if that will be a problem for you, I can just make the keybearer base class as something that needs some requirements in order to obtain it. As for the keyblade... let me think about that over again.

As for the roleplay itself, I already said that I accept the idea of making it as a landscape. Also, this roleplay is plotless so anyone can do anything that they like. They can try to create a sub-plot of their own if they like. Also, this roleplay will never die. I made this so that this one will never die and that anyone can come roleplay in it. As for the Rule 8 part, I will scratch that one out. I can see people start complaining about it now.

Well the vein I would suggest for classes would be to use the "bases" as their own classes. Sort of like, everyone starts out at this level, or something. So a Warrior character would start off with above par physical abilities, and be primarily skilled for melee combat, a mage would have rudimentary magical abilities, and a mage would have a few small scale summons. Then from there those base classes develop into more powerful, and then, more defined versions of themselves. For example, a Mage would have to progress through the state of being an "elementalist" and then hone a single element to become a specific elemental user. Something like that. And once a certain point in the RP is reached, people could be permitted to mix up their character a bit; in fact, I think to really balance a warrior against a mage or summoner (at the higher levels anyways) would require some cross-over into the realm of mage sort of work.

  12. EtherealSummoner

    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

Sorry that it took me a month to get back to everyone. Anyways, as I have went back on this, I have decided on several factors.

    1. Everyone are allowed to use a keyblade IF they so choose. However, you can only use up to two type of weapons. The keybearer class will not exist.

    2. I was unable to make a flow chart. In that case, I made it to the point where MOST of the evolution classes can be accessed.

    3. A Supreme Class List has been added.

    4. The first post has a few changes. Instead of ceasing to exist, you will stay out of the KHPlanet World for about three to five posts.

    5. If you want to be a mage, let me know what type of mage you want to be.

The more I think about it, the more I feel like having rigidly defined classes would only make this more complicated than it should be. If we're goin for a 'social experience' RP than we might as well make thing a little more open to peoples' creativity with just a few restrictions.

  14. EtherealSummoner

    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

Hm... in that case, I'll tkae off the restrictions on the Evolution Class List... and I will take off the limits on the number of weapons a person can have.

What you need to know is that I never said, for the warrior class for example, that they can never use magic. They can if they want but they will not be able to use as many magic as they would like in comparison to the mage or supporter class. A thief and a warrior can use level one spells such as fire or water but not as good as a mage. The definition of the classes that I gave is what the classes excels in. Not once though did I say that a ninja or a white mage can never use magic or can fight physically. Just know that they will not be able to be as good as the appropriate class, which is why I listed the weaknesses in some to most of the classes. If you want to be a warrior but you would also like to have a couple of spells, that is good but don't overdo the spells. I never said that one class can never do something that another class can do.

I have took off some more restrictions so that people can have even more access to an evolutionary class. I will not change what I had down for the Supreme Classes though and that list might have some more restrictions on it.

Well, I'm thinking it might even be better to ditch the whole system and just have everyone being totally normal people.

In that case, why don't we just make a roleplay and call it "Real life"?

Restrictions exist in games for a purpose. To add CHALLENGE. Challenge to make the best of a system.

Yeah, but a finite class system is going to make what (I believe) this project is all about, harder to get into. I think if we're making a KHP RP, we could always set the limitations within reasonable boundaries of the KH Games. Something like that. In any condition, everyone should at least start as normal people. But with the idea of keeping this as a continuous event, there will need to be a way to gauge when people can undergo an evolution of their powers.

  18. EtherealSummoner

    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

They can start as normal people if they want. However, seeing as to how many people would love to have their characters get into fights, I made the list of classes for a reason. Honestly, I do not know why the class list is making it so hard in your perspective. The class list gives everyone so many opportunities to choose which class that they want to be. Would it be hard for them to decide, yes but they can have more than one class. You want to start out normal first and then choose your base class, that is fine with me. You want to start off with your base class right from the bat, that is fine too. However Wayward, I am not going to keep on taking away the limitations of some of the classes that needs some requirements. And as I said before, the class definitions that I had stated in the list are what they normally do and excel in.

As for how people can reach their evolution, I am still thinking about it but it will not going to be with points. I might just go and slap them with a special quest in their faces so that they will be able to reach their evolutionary stage and maybe even the supreme stages. That is the only idea that I have so far.

  19. Become

Well, I think that people should start, at least, somewhere low on evolutionary chains. Like, everyone starts in some manner of a basic warrior type of class or something comparable, and things like magic and more unique weapons could be awarded based on happenings throughout the RP. I'd almost like to say that if we're going to maintain this as an ongoing, potentially unending RP event, then maybe growth should be awarded based on a person's level of activity. Like maybe everyone starts off normal and unarmed, sort of like, they've all been dropped into this new, mysterious world, and they've got nothing. But then, maybe after a person has posted a few times, they get the benefit of finding some kind of weapon. And then after a certain number of other posts, they can start learning and mastering some aspect of magic and such.

I'm not opposed to using a class system. I just think that it still needs to be polished off a bit so that it's understandable as to what goes to where along the chain.

  20. EtherealSummoner

    EtherealSummoner Lamentations 3:22-26

??? The basic class list is low on the class system. If you want to go lower, then what you are thinking of is a Freelancer:

Freelancers: Not an actual job; a placeholder. Can use level one magic (Fire, water, thunder, ice, etc). Lacks specific strengths and/or skills. Broad range of weapons; a little bit weak defensively.

That is as far as I can go for normal. Otherwise, this is how I am starting to see it:

    1. Everyone starts off with a basic class; they participate in fights, post, have characters compete, become more involve in many quests, competitions and small plots; gain power and is able to choose any evolutionary class; rinse and repeat; after growing more and more, they may be able to challenge themselves for a

    2. Starts off as Freelancers; does not get a keyblade yet; start developing first; grow more into a specific base class; gain keyblade right at the spot after choosing a base class; repeat of number one.

For a more clear view as to what the class list would truly look like:

Freelancer (Maybe)-- Base Class-- Evolutionary Class (A few can only be exclusive to a specific class)- Supreme.

-_- And this is a KHPlanet roleplay. Why should everyone just drop up into a "mysterious" new world? Nothing so mysterious the way I see it. They can be a "Freelancer" as I had described above but if that will be the case, they are better off starting off without a keyblade first. Also, as I had said before, I really do not want to use the number of posts system in order for one to require something. A couple of roleplays that I used to be in did that and it tend to fail.
