I am looking for at least three other roleplayers to join me in engaging in a simple, relatively short, and fast-paced tournament in the context of a Struggle Tournament.
    Rules & Regulations
    • All rules pertaining to the forums, Roleplay Section and Roleplay Arena are in effect.
    • Only one character will be allowed per player. All matches will be one-on-one with no NPC involvement or interference, unless odd numbers necessitate more than two players.
    • Combat will be exclusively close-quarters.
    • Characters will be considered as Tier 3 (Beta State) in terms of physical prowess.
    • Weaponry will be based on the Struggle Bats, though variations will be permitted, so long as they remain within the mold of close-quarters weaponry.
    Battle Process
    • In the spirit of the Struggle Tournament, our character will have 100 orbs in their person.
    • The character that finishes the battle with the most orbs wins the battle.
    • Landing a hit on an opponent yields the dropping of orbs.
    • Hits will only be counted if they are landed to the stomach, chest, upper arms and legs or shoulders.
    • Hitting the head or below the belt shall be considered illicit and result in a penalty (pending a confirmation of intent).
    • Strikes that land ]anywhere on the from the hand to the elbow and anywhere on the from the foot to the knee shall not count towards a loss of orbs, but are still viable targets for strategic striking. These areas of the body may also be used for blocking.
    • A single successful hit will result in the loss of three orbs from the struck combatant and passively transferred to the attacking combatant.
    • Any successive hits exceeding one will result in a 'scattering' of orbs, and the combatants will need to actively gather them.
    • All non-killing techniques within the blanket of martial arts will be considered acceptable.
Battle Clock and Ideal Posting Standard
    • This will be a single elimination style tournament. If you lose once, you're done.
    • For purpose of brevity, it requested that posts are kept on the shorter side. A paragraph or two (four to eight legitimate sentences) outlining defensive, evasive and/or offensive actions.
    • Rather than setting a time limit, each battle will allot for a total of 21 posts from each combatant. The first two of these should be contained to introductory posts, in which no combative action maybe taken (beyond assuming a fighting stance).
    • However, a combatant left waiting for a response for an excess of 12 hours may steal a post from their opponent. A stolen post will permit a power play of the previous post and may be used to either successfully collect scattered orbs or mount a second attack.
    • If a single combatant has their post stolen three times, they will be disqualified from combat and lose the battle.
    • Should a combatant win over all 200 orbs present in the battle, they automatically win the battle.
    Judging
Failing the presence of a dedicated tournament judge, combatants will take it upon themselves judge battles in which they are not engaged; eliminated combatants are welcome to assist.
Judges will be in place to monitor battles for rules breaking, refute, if necessary, the legitimacy of maneuvers, and keep track of orb counts for each player.

    Combatant Registry
All combatants must submit the following information.

A recent picture, attached to the top of the registry form.
Approximate Height and Weight of combatant.

    Name: (Last, First MI)
Age: (We're only accepting combatants ages 16 and up here)
    Gender: (Male, Female, Ambiguous?)
    Weaponry: (Approved Struggle Weaponry Only!)
