Hey guys, sorry it’s been a while, boy have I been busy. To start my week off, my computer was hit with this massive virus. Throughout the week I have extracurricular activities to attend to and school work, and you really do not care about all of this about me.

You care about Kingdom Hearts news, and today I have a few things to share with you. A lot of things that will interest you and hopefully excite you.

As Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep was released recently to over sea fans (the North America September 7 and Europe September 10), many fans rushed to video game stores everywhere near them. As many as our forums members have as well. Well the charts for the weak on top games came in. This was for September 9, 2010 so Europe wasn’t even counted. Two days after it’s released, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep is ranked number 2 on Amazon’s most bought video game for the North America. What surprising news this was to hear!

Besides from the information about the sales on Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Normura also twittered, on the Kingdom Hearts Twitter page, a message to overseas fans.

And what a wait it has been. Just a little surprise fact, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep was announced as an actual project back in June 2005! Just a little over 5 years, so it was a mighty wait, but a wait fans stuck through and Normura is positive that will be enjoyed.

Thanks to forum member Bankai and fellow Kingdom Hearts Forums News Staff for this update. As We all know Kingdom Hearts re:Coded will definitely be at the Tokyo Game Show later this month, but there are two games in production for the Kingdom Hearts series, the other one being Kingdom Hearts 3D, a game that is hidden in the shadows where nobody knows about at all.

Many internet theories have stated that the game will be available to play as a Nintendo 3DS exclusive at Tokyo Game Show, however nothing is confirmed. We can only hope though that some news about the mystery game is revealed, just make sure you stick with us while we keep you up to date.

oh yeah. with all the ReCoded and 3ds hype i forgot there was another title in the works besides 3(which technically isn't even in works yet)

i hope that gets a little spotlight at the show.

I still don't believe for a moment that KH 3D will be presented at the next game show or anytime soon. It's too early. I do appreciate the uplifting news, Dawn. Can you offer a number of the amount of sales for the game or is that all you've got for us for the moment?

What possibly could it be? What other loose ends are there? How Radiant Gardens became Hollow Bastion? I would like it to be a HD Collection of KH1, Chain of Memories and KH2 for the PS3. That would be sweet. I'll check VGChartz now.

    EDIT: There's nothing.

I'm pretty sure Hollow Bastion came to be the name of Radiant Garden when Malecifent overran the place with heartless and it became as desolate and abandoned as you see it in Kingdom hearts 1. I'm not sure I'm just assuming that's what happened; they could explain it better..

Oh yes. I am all for your idea for an HD collection of the previous Kingdom hearts games! Since my PS3 doesn't play PS2 games, I would love that kind of convenience.

i suggested that a while ago and just got laughed at. :(

Which part did you get laughed at for?

I really want a PSP now!I want BBS,but cant get it,suckage level is so high.Good thing a friend is getting it in January, get to play his.

3D just seems wierd, old Sora and Riku but Nobodies that he didnt see during CoM.It is possible that Riku would have seen them, but Sora?If we didnt see him, then I would think that it is a game showing what Riku did right after CoM from his own point of view.

suggesting a PS3 collection of KH1,2, and Re:COM. everybody shot it down.

Eh,it would probably be a PS2 collection, though Im sure many people still own PS2s since the most PS3s dont play them anymore. But I can see it happening.Be awesome if it was the final mix ones, but a KH collection would let newer fans come in.

Who knows,BBS might have gotten in a lot of new fans and a KH collection would be great for them!

well look at Sly Cooper or God of War; neither had the same popularity KH had yet one has a collection and the other is getting one. why is it so hard to see the KH series get one?

Haha, it's 'cause I wasn't there to back you up. Believe me I think that is a great idea, they can even make it worth people's time to buy by maybe adding development videos of the games because I'd definitely be interested in seeing that, even they are speaking in japanese and we'd be force to read the subtitles. It'd still be worth it.

To be honest, I can see both sides of this being optimistic. I can see it being done because it will open the original KH titles up to a whole new audience, as well as generate more revenue for Square. However, I can also see it not being done because the PS2 titles still retail at $19.99 each, and Square is still selling a good number of copies of those. If a collection was to come out, they'd probably run it at $29.99 to start.
Who knows, it'd be smart to do one, but Square has an interesting state of mind when it comes to their financial decision making.

Well,a complimation will usually give you all three at once, either at a price that is all three at once or possibly less!
Ive seen the latter done, though it was an anime, not a video game series.

Also, dont forget MGS.Got MGS 1-3 as a complimation before MGS 4 came out.Ended up being the reason I got MGS 4 as well.

I seem to recall a God of War collection coming out not too long ago and it really didn't cost any more than a new PS3 game, that and I got a free controller. So I think adding three games to HD one collection and charging around $50 for it isn't that bad. I can say that confidently because of how much of a cheapskate I am too.

What now? Looking through that thread, most people seemed to think it'd be cool, as long as they included the final mixes. o_O

Nice to see that KH's fanbase is still going strong, and turning out for the new games.

And do we have any sort of source about KH 3D possibly being playable, or is this just rumors generating by optimistic folk on other forums?

I think I remember him talking about it before and some members saying it is too soon, though later it would be fine.I dont remember my stand back then.I would like it,though maybe a little more time.Still before whever KH III comes out though.

On 3D,as far as I am aware,no official stuff, whether from them or some slip-up,has come out yet.

thats sort of what i meant. just about everybody(you included) said only if its the the final mixes. otherwise the majority opinion was no.

    dualblade Break!

And now I remember more of it.Eh,sometimes opinions change.Too fast sometimes, but still.

Maybe we were all thinking of ourselves at the time instead of people who have never played? In that thought process,I wouldnt buy the complimation unless it was Final Mix,and even then maybe not. However,a complimation would be good for people who have never played the games, are atleast most of them.

Well, I think about my wallet, and I have copies of both KH and KH II (and a PS2 to play them) so a compilation isn't something I'd find worthwhile for myself unless there were a lot of extras. But even so, no one laughed at the idea. But this is rather off-topic, isn't it? We should really only be talking about Dawn's news here. The thread you made is only three weeks old, so we could take this discussion there. Wouldn't it be Awesome?
