Kingdom Hearts: Missing Key to Guidance​

Prologue​

In Radiant Gardens, the sky was filled with clouds, signaling a storm was brewing. Leon, a resident there, stood outside of a small Moogle shop. “Looks like we’re going to have a storm,” he said coldly. A woman dressed as a ninja walked out of the Moogle shop. “Oh Squall, why do you look so gloom, we need the rain for the plants. Or do you want them to die?” asked the ninja. Leon scoffed and replied, “Stop calling me that, you know I don’t like it Yuffie. Besides, I know we need the rain, I just don’t like it is all.”​

Rain began to fall with heavy thuds as it hit the ground. Leon and Yuffie began to go inside where it was warm. Inside a girl dressed in pink awaited them with tea in her hand. “Heya Aerith, oooh tea,” said Yuffie in a greedy manner. Aerith smiled and gave Leon and Yuffie some tea. “I’m glad you two came in,” Aerith stated. “It was beginning to look bad outside.” Yuffie nodded in agreement.​

A loud crash of thunder boomed through the world. The lights went out in the house as the group sat in darkness. Leon got up and said, “I’ll go get Cid to turn on the emergency back up generator.” He walked out the door and went to a shop nearby. He went in and saw a man yelling at his computer. “Dang it you darn computer! Why ain’t you workin?” Leon walked over and said, “What seems to be the problem Cid?” Cid turned to Leon and said, “Leon I ain’t seen nothing like it before, the whole world has gone down! We’re stuck in the dark basically!”​

Leon put his hand on his chin and began to think. “Hmmmm……..this storm couldn’t be the source for all this mess. Something must be goin-” Leon was cut off short when he heard a scream. He ran outside and saw hundreds of Heartless and Nobodies. “Heartless and Nobodies? What are they doing here?” Leon questioned. He drew his Gunblade from his back and attacked the Heartless and Nobodies. A heinous laugh came from behind Leon. Leon heard the laugh but reacted too slow. He turned around and was quickly forced back into the Heartless.​

He looked up to see a hooded man. The man looked down at Leon and said, “Where is the Key Bearer?” Leon could hardly hear him but replied, “You mean Sora?” The man laughed and said, “Not that pathetic boy. The NEW Key Bearer.”

Chapter 1: Wake up Call​

It was 7:45 in the morning in Twilight Town. Children and teenagers were getting ready to go to school, for it was the first day. Everyone was getting ready, all except for one boy. Darius lay in his bed still asleep from a long night when his cell phone rang. He jumped up from surprise and saw his phone. He answered saying, “Uh…..hello?” From the other end of the phone came screaming from a teenage boy. “Dude, Darius, man I overslept! You’re at school right? Have I missed anything?” Darius looked around and realized he was still in his room. He screamed back, “No! Oh damn it, look; I’ll meet you at school Jordan.”

He hung up the phone and ran to his dresser. He heard his mother yelling up at him, “Darius if you’re late to school on the first day-” Darius yelled back, “Yeah I know, I’ll be grounded.” After finding something to wear he ran down the steps and ate his bacon and eggs as fast as he could. “Jesus Darius! You’re going to be late,” his mother said. Darius chuckled and said, “See ya mom.” He ran out the door and ran to school. After ten minutes he arrived just when the bell rang.

He sighed with relief as he just managed to make it in. As Darius made his way to class, Jordan caught up with him. “Hey Darius. Looks like we both made it, huh buddy,” Jordan said smiling. Darius looked at Jordan and said, “You were here this morning when you called me weren’t you?” Jordan smiled and said, “Well since you’re a straight A student, you couldn’t miss school now could you?” The two laughed as they proceeded to their class. The day went on with the two going to classes and switching to other classes. And soon it was lunch. The two met each other at the lunch hall. Jordan would buy his lunch, which included a bologna sandwich, while Darius had brought his lunch, which included a turkey sandwich.

As they sat at an unoccupied table, they exchanged sandwiches and laughed. In the corner of Jordan’s eye, he saw two girls coming into the lunch hall. The girls stood on the opposite side of Jordan and Darius’ table. One girl asked, “Hey, can we sit here?” Before Darius could reply Jordan said, “It’s a free country.” The two girls sat down at the table. One girl reached her hand across the table to Jordan and said, “I’m Rachael.” Jordan shook her hand and replied, “I’m Jordan. Pleasure to meet ya.” The other girl shyly said to Darius, “I’m Jennifer.” Darius replied in a low tone, “Darius.”

Jordan paid no attention to Darius’ shyness and said to Rachael, “So, you guys new around here?” Before she could answer two large boys, in their senior year, walked over to the group. One of the boys had red hair and a scar on his arm, his name was Buster. The other was blonde and was a bit heavy like, his name was Barry. The two played football at the school and were considered to be the two biggest jerks in school. The two went to Rachael and Jennifer. Buster stood next to Jennifer and said, “Hey cutie, why you messing with these to losers?” Barry went to Rachael and said, “Yeah, you two could be hanging with us.”

Jordan and Darius stood up. “Maybe because they got good judgment with boys,” Darius said. Barry walked over to Darius and shoved him to the ground saying, “Then they’ve never met men before.” Jordan rushed over to Barry and punched him in the nose. Buster ran over to Jordan in hopes to run him over but failed when Darius tripped him. In moments, the four began fighting. Jordan fought Buster while Darius fought Barry. But in an instance, a flash of light came from Darius’ hand when he punched Barry. Everyone just thought it was his watch shining in the light but Darius knew better. The same thing happened to Jordan when he punched Buster but with darkness. He had punched Buster in his chest so Buster collapsed onto the floor.

Darius and Jordan looked at each other and ran out the lunch hall. The two girls looked at the knocked out boys then ran after Darius and Jordan.​

 

Chapter 2: Destiny Choosing​

Jordan and Darius ran into the empty computer lab. They were out of breath at that point so they both sat down on the ground. Jordan turned to Darius and said, “What the hell happened out there Darius?!” Darius yelled, “How the hell should I know? I know as much as you do at this point.” The two girls rushed in the room and saw the boys on the ground. Jennifer went next to Darius and asked, “Did they hurt you? Are you ok? What happened out there?” Darius just chuckled and said, “They didn’t hurt me too bad, I’ve been better, and I don’t know.”

Jordan stood up and said, “When I fought Buster, I had the urge to just kill him.” Rachael grabbed his arm and said, “C’mon, you shouldn’t be thinking like that.” Jordan sat back down and held the hand that had given Buster the deafening blow. He chuckled and said, “What do we do now?” The room grew silent. The two boys, who were trying to defend two innocent girls, are now in serious trouble.

Jordan got up and said, “Well Darius, let’s take our punishment like men!” Darius nodded and also got up. As the group proceeded to the door the lights in the building went out. “What the hell,” Jordan mumbled. Jennifer quickly clenched to Darius’ arm in hopes of protection. Jordan turned to the three and said, “No worries, it’s probably a maintenance problem.” Scraping sounds could be heard outside the door and the four quickly backed up. “Yup, maintenance problem alright,” Darius said in a sarcastic manner. Jordan looked at Darius then at the door.

Without seconds notice, Jordan kicked down the door. Jennifer almost screamed until she realized that nothing was there. “See? Nothing to worry abo-” Jordan was cut off when down the hall small black creatures appeared from the shadows. Jordan looked at them and whispered back to the group, “Darius get the girls out of here.” “But what about you,” was Darius’ reply? Jordan put his hand in his face and said, “No questions asked. Just go!” The shadow creatures scurried down the hallway towards the group.

Jordan kicked the first one he saw, making it go flying backwards. Jordan chuckled and said, “This is pretty easy!” But, to his surprise, the creature he previously attacked quickly got up and lunged itself at Jordan. It used its claws to scratch at Jordan’s chest. Jordan yelled in fear as he tried to force the creature off of him proving no avail. Darius ran over to Jordan and pushed the creature off of him. He helped Jordan up as the two grabbed the girls and ran down the hallway. “What the hell are those things,” Jordan yelled. Darius shook his head and said, “How the hell should I know?!” Suddenly, Rachael fell to the ground and the creatures quickly jumped onto her, trying to scratch at her heart.

The group turned around to see the creatures swarming on Rachael’s body. Jordan yelled out, “Rachael!” Without thinking about it Jordan ran toward the creatures at full speed while Darius screamed, “Jordan what are you doing?!” Jordan ignored him and continued to the creatures. A flash of light blinded everyone in the room. When the light disappeared, Jordan was wielding the Oblivion Keyblade. He looked at it for a brief second then muttered, “Cool……….” He looked at the creatures and then and the mysterious giant key before running towards the creatures and swinging the blade at them.

“Grrrrrrrr, time for you shadow beings to go back to where you came,” he yelled as he slashed the creatures. After defeating the creatures that were swarming on Rachael, Jordan helped her up and said, “Are you alright?” She smiled and replied, “Yeah.” Jordan nodded and said, “Then let’s get out of here.” “So, I’ve finally found you,” a voice from behind said. The four turned around to see a hooded figure. “You’re with them aren’t you,” Jordan asked cautiously. The man laughed and said, “With them? Foolish boy, I CONTROL them.” In the blink of an eye the man threw Jordan to the wall hard. Jordan fell on the ground with a loud thud. Rachael ran over to him and cried, “Jordan!”

The man laughed and said to the near unconscious Jordan, “I’ve traveled a long way to find you Key Bearer.” Another flash of light appeared then disappeared. The man seemed confused although his face was still covered. He turned around to see Darius wielding the Kingdom Key. “What?! Two Key Bearers,” the man exclaimed. “I don’t know what that is, but don’t ever mess with my friends,” was Darius’ reply before using the blade to hit the man in the side. The man only backed up a little bit before laughing. “Do you two honestly believe you can’t defeat me,” he asked. Jordan got up and stood next to Darius. “Maybe not just them alone, but with some help we’ll defeat you,” exclaimed an unknown voice.

With that being said, a Gummi ship came crashing through the school. A mouse and a boy came out of the Gummi ship. Before the hooded man could respond to the action, the mouse hopped into the air and engaged in combat with the man. “Sora, get these kids out of here,” the mouse exclaimed. Sora replied, “But your majesty!” “I’ll hold him off, just go,” the mouse replied. The mouse moved his right hand back then snapped it forward. And when that happened a Keyblade appeared in his hand. “Whoa,” Jordan said, chuckling a bit.

Sora began to get the group of four kids in the ship and quickly took off, leaving the royal mouse and the hooded man to do combat.​

Chapter 3: The Missing Key​

Sora had commandeered the Gummi ship, due to Goofy and Donald’s absence. There was silence on the ship. Jordan laid on a seat, still a bit injured from the attack of the hooded man. While Darius sat next to Jennifer, holding her hand in an attempt to comfort her. After about ten minutes of absolute silence Jordan finally said, “Um ok, first off who are you? Second, what the hell happened back there? Some little black things attack us, I get a giant key, some weird guy attacks me, my friend over here gets a giant key, then you and an abnormal sized mouse come and HE’S got a giant key!”

Sora just replied, “Wow you’re impatient. Ok then, I’m Sora. And your names would be?” Rachael replied, “I’m Rachael, the girl in the dress is Jennifer, the quiet boy is Darius, and the boy you’ve just spoken to is Jordan.” Sora smiled and said, “Pleasure to meet you four. What was your second question again?” Sora thought about it for a few seconds before saying, “Oh yeah I remember now! Hmmmm, how should I put this? Well, the creatures that attacked you are called Heartless, that “abnormal sized mouse” is King Mickey, and the guy who attacked you is-” He was interrupted when Darius said, “What about these giant keys? What are they? And what are Heartless?”

Sora sighed deeply. “It’s a long story.” Darius smirked and said, “I got time.” Sora sighed once more and said, “Fine. Heartless are creatures that form from the darkness in people’s hearts. Once the heart leaves the body, a Heartless is formed. As for your ‘giant keys’ they are called Keyblades. The Keyblade chooses a wielder due to their heart. If someone had a heart with a lot of light in it, they might be chosen like I was.” There was long silence in the room. “Well where is your Keyblade then,” asked Jordan. Sora went silent.
“It’s here,” he said soft spoken. “Where,” Darius asked now impatient. Sora set the ship to auto pilot, turned around to Darius and said, “You have it.” Darius looked shocked. “M-m-me? How do I have your Keyblade?” Sora replied, “The king says it’s because the Keyblade has to shift momentarily in order for us to find the key.” Jordan summoned his Keyblade and said, “Here it is!” Sora shook his head, “No Jordan, this key is a lot more important.” Sora turned his seat back around a commanded the ship again. Rachael turned to Jordan and said, “What is that guy talking about?” Jordan shrugged and said, “I don’t know, but wherever he’s taking us might have some answers.”

Moments later, the ship landed in a big open courtyard with large hedges. Behind the courtyard lied a large castle. “Whoa,” Darius said in disbelief. “Welcome to the king’s castle,” Sora exclaimed. “I guess he isn’t just an abnormal sized mouse after all,” Jordan muttered. Sora led the group to the castle where two figures stood in front of the entrance. “Donald, Goofy,” Sora yelled in a happy tone. The two saw their friend approaching and said in unison, “Sora!” The three ran towards each other and hugged. “Donald and Goofy, this is Jordan, Darius, Jennifer, and Rachael,” Sora said. Donald and Goofy again spoke in unison, “Hello Jordan, Darius, Jennifer, and Rachael!” Darius and Jordan both just ignored the reunion and walked into the castle.

The two walked down a hallway until they noticed large doors to their right. “Dare we,” Jordan asked. “Let’s,” Darius replied. They opened a smaller door on the large doors and went inside. They had entered another hallway like room but with a throne at the end. Jordan ran over to the throne and sat on it as Darius just laughed as he walked down the hallway. “Nice huh? Suits me pretty well,” Jordan said. Darius laughed and said, “Oh great king! Hahaha!” Jordan put his hands on the arms of the throne and felt a switch. Unknowingly to Darius, he pressed the switch making the throne move a bit backwards.

“What the hell did you do Jordan,” Darius asked. “I found some secret steps that’s what,” Jordan said. The two boys looked down at where the throne originally was and saw a secret staircase leading somewhere to a lower level. Darius walked down the steps which leaded in Jordan following him. As the reached the lower level they saw a large glowing orb like thing sitting in the middle of the room like a crystal ball. “That thing is beautiful,” Darius said. “What is it,” Jordan asked.

A mysterious voice came from behind the two saying, “The Cornerstone of Light. It will help us find the key foolish boys.”​

 

Chapter 4: The other Stone​

The two turned to see an old man with round spectacles and a pointy hat. “Excuse me,” Jordan said. The old man replied and said, “Oh dear where are my manners! I am Merlin; I am the wizard around here.” Jordan looked at Darius then at Merlin. “Like, Harry Potter,” he said before bursting into laughter. Merlin frowned and pulled out a small white wand. He flicked his wrist and sparks shot out. The sparks hit Jordan, making him hang upside down. Darius saw his friend and summoned his Kingdom Key.

Merlin looked to Darius and saw him wield the Keyblade. He gasped and said, “Oh my, you two are the new Key Bearers? I expected the new Key Bearers to look more……..heroic!” Darius looked at his Keyblade then at Merlin. He thought about what Merlin said and quickly replied, “What do you mean ‘more heroic’? That Sora guy doesn’t exactly look like the ‘Hero of Time’ either but so what?” Jordan was screaming at the two, “I’m sorry if I’m interrupting but could someone let me down now!” Merlin smiled and looked at Jordan and said, “As you wish.” With another flick of his wrist, Jordan fell to the floor hard. He quickly got up and made his way to Merlin saying, “What the hell is your problem? This some kind of joke to you or something?” Darius restrained Jordan and said to Merlin, “What were you talking about earlier, when you said this stone could help us find the key?”

Merlin looked at Darius and said, “Ah, I guess Sora didn’t fill you two in on the whole reason you two are here.” Jordan pushed off from Darius, calming down. “He didn’t tell us much actually,” Jordan corrected Merlin. Merlin responded, “Right, right, right, well I guess I should tell you both. You see, the Keyblade chooses only the purest of hearts or only those destined to use it. So apparently, you two were chosen. That’s why you two have these Keyb-“he was cut off by Jordan who said, “We already know how we got Keyblades. Why are we here and what is this ‘key’ you all have been talking about?!” Merlin sighed and said, “This ‘key’ holds the fate of the universe. Without it, we will all perish.

“The man you two encountered earlier was Nox Decious. He has been searching for the newest Key Bearer and the ‘missing key’. But when he encountered you two earlier and realized you both had Keyblades, I imagine he must have been shocked seeing as he was only looking for one of you. For you two have the power to get the key.” Jordan and Darius looked at each other in shock. Darius looked at Merlin and said, “So the fate of the universe is up to us?” Merlin nodded. Jordan said in a low tone, “I’m in.” Darius responded and said, “Me too.” The two walked away from the spot. Merlin yelled to them, “Boys, where are you going?” They gave no answer as they continued to walk away. “Well at least remember, you both need to get up early for your training!” Again, they gave no answer. Merlin sighed and muttered, “This will be rather difficult.”

The boys went out to find the girls as they searched the corridors. They finally found them in the library of the castle. Rachael ran to Jordan as they hugged each other. They quickly stop hugging, both feeling a bit embarrassed. Jordan cleared his throat and said, “Uh, well it’s good to see you’re BOTH okay.” Rachael replied, “Yeah it’s good to see you two are okay too. What happened?” Jordan and Darius told the two girls there story and what there destiny was.

Elsewhere, in Twilight Town, Nox Decious stood over Mickey Mouse and pointed his sword at his neck. “You won’t…….get away…….with this,” Mickey managed to get out. Nox Decious laughed and said, “I already have, foolish mouse.” Nox twisted his blade and ran it across Mickey’s neck. Nox disappeared into the Darkness leaving the dead mouse there to rot.

Jordan and Darius slept in a large room in the castle in their own respective beds. The girls slept in a room adjacent to them in an almost equal size room. Jordan lay in his bed and called out in a hush voice, “Hey Darius, you sleep yet?” After a few seconds Darius replied, “I guess not.” Jordan happily said, “Tomorrow we train so we can learn how to use the Keyblade! I can hardly sleep.” Darius replied,”Then stop thinking about it and let ME sleep.” The two laughed as Jordan lay on his back and looked up at the ceiling. “I’ll try. Oh, and you try not to make a fool of yourself tomorrow,” Jordan laughed. By that time Darius had already fallen back to sleep. Jordan looked over to him and then back up at the ceiling. “Humph, oh well. I’ll just remind him tomorrow.” Jordan yawned and drifted slowly to sleep.

Nox Decious reappeared in a dark chamber and sat in a large throne. Across from him was a large stone, similar to the Cornerstone of Light but it was filled with Darkness. “I can feel one of the boys. If I find one of them, I can find them both. And when I do, I’ll be able to retrieve the ‘key’,” Nox Decious said as he laughed heinously, disappearing in a cloud of Darkness.​

 

Chapter 5: Training with Darkness​

The sun rose outside of the castle as everyone in it began to awake. The girls, Rachael and Jennifer, walked to the boy’s room to wake them up for their training. Jennifer looked around the castle and said, “This place is really big. I bet someone could get lost in here.
Rachael replied, “Nah, it doesn’t seem that big. And besides, if you live here long enough, I’m sure you can’t get lost here.” Jennifer nodded in agreement. “Yeah I guess your right.” Rachael scoffed and jokingly said, “Aren’t I always right?” Jennifer thought and said, “Well……..” Rachael quickly replied, “Shut up!” Then they both laughed as they made it to the boy’s room,

The two knocked on the door, hoping to wake the duo up. “Oh boys! It‘s your wake up call,” Rachael yelled. Jordan slowly opened the door to let the girls in. The girls slowly walked in just as Darius was putting a shirt on. “Thankfully for us, Merlin got us some clothes,” Darius said as the girls walked in. Jennifer giggled at Darius’ comment and added, “It would’ve seemed awkward if you guys wore the same old thing everyday.” Jordan growled in anger in the corner making everyone turn to look. Jordan stood in the corner with a white beater, or t-shirt, on and some black and red jeans.

Darius looked to him and asked, “What’s wrong?” Jordan looked to them and said, “Merlin gave me the worse clothes! The only good I things I have are these jeans, a jacket and some shoes! No good shirts. The rest of this clothing is too bright for my taste! So I’ll just wear this t-shirt.” Darius laughed and said, “Nice excuse Jordan to show off your muscles.” Jordan put his jacket on and pulled up the hood as he began his walk out, quickly followed by Rachael. Darius and Jennifer looked at each other before Darius asked, “Ready?” Jennifer nodded signaling it was time to go train.

Jordan and Darius arrived out in the courtyard where Merlin, Sora and a hooded man stood waiting for the two. “You guys are late,” the hooded man said. Jordan looked at him and said, “Sorry, I got the wrong address at first. I thought Merlin meant the OTHER giant courtyard.” Sora rolled his eyes and said to the boys, “Darius, Jordan, this is Riku. Out of me and him, he kept his Keyblade.” Riku took his jacket off and said, “Pleasure to meet you two.” He summoned his Way to Dawn and got in his battle stance. Jordan and Darius summoned their Keyblades to their sides when Darius asked, “So what are we learning today? Guarding, magic, flying even?” Riku laughed and said, “No.” He disappeared leaving Jordan and Darius shocked. Suddenly, Jordan was attacked from behind by Riku’s Keyblade. “You both will learn how to fight,” Sora said.

Jordan was taken down to one knee and looked up at Darius and said, “Where the hell is he?” Darius got in a battle stance of his own and replied, “I don’t know, but he must be close.” Jordan stood with his Oblivion Keyblade in hand a got behind Darius. He quietly whispered, “Back-to-back.” Darius quickly nodded. Riku slid in on Darius to hit his stomach but Darius was quick and guarded, pushing him backwards which made Jordan move forward. Riku began to attack Darius quickly so Darius tried to defend as best he could. Jordan rolled against Darius’ back making it so now Darius and Jordan were face to face with Riku. Darius was defending him and Jordan while Jordan did the attacking for him and Darius. Riku said to the two, “You guys are good-” He quickly jumped into the air before quickly crashing down with his Keyblade, slamming it into the ground making a dark wave knock Jordan and Darius backwards. Riku got up and continued saying, “-but I’m better.”

Jordan and Darius fell to the ground, trying to recover from the dark wave. Jordan used his Oblivion to help him up and lent his hand to help Darius up. Jordan yelled at Riku, “What gives? That felt exactly like the hit I took from Nox Decious!” Darius nodded in agreement and said, “Yeah, what the hell?” Riku laughed to himself and said, “Well, I’m training you guys to fight the Darkness. So you’ll have to fight it. It’s a lot easier too since I can use Darkness.” Riku prepared to launch himself at the two. Jordan and Darius whispered something to each other before they braced themselves for the attack. Riku sprinted towards them at full speed ready to attack. But the moment he got about four inches close to them, the two leaped into the air landing a bit rough on their feet. Riku stopped his sprint looking around for the boys. “Where’d they go,” was what Riku was going to say before he was attacked by Darius and Jordan. “Was that good enough for you,” Jordan asked sarcastically.

Riku fell to his knees trying to regain his breath. Jordan and Darius stared at him, ready for when he would attack. Riku gasped in horror as did Merlin. Merlin yelled, “Oh dear! Riku,” Merlin yelled. Riku yelled back, “I know.” Riku got up and turned to Darius and Jordan. Jordan and Darius had a puzzled look on their faces, not knowing what to think. Within a blink of an eye, Riku pushed Darius to the ground and tackled Jordan to the ground. Jordan looked up at him ad yelled, “What the hell man?” Riku got up and ran towards something but was quickly thrown fifty feet away. Merlin and Sora stared on in shock as they quickly ran into the castle. Merlin yelled to Darius and Jordan, “Boys, hurry up and run in!” Jordan was confused but stood up and stretched. “Huh? What are they talking about,” Jordan questioned. But then, a hand clenched Jordan’s throat lifting him up. Jordan gasped for air as he looked down seeing the same dark covered man from before. The man looked up at Jordan with bright green eyes and said, “We meet again key bearer.” Jordan managed to get out, “N-N-Nox De-Decious.”​

 

Chapter 6: Double Darkness

Decious tightened his grip around Jordan’s neck. Jordan struggled to get loose of his grip. He squirmed and tugged vigorously but all Nox did was laugh. “Do you want to get down? Fine by me,” Nox said before throwing him into a tree. Jordan fell unconscious when he hit the tree. Nox walked over to Jordan’s unconscious body to take him away until a voice behind him yelled, “Oh no you don’t!” He turned to see Riku rushing toward him. Nox jumped in the air and floated in midair. Riku smiled as he leaped into the air and hit Nox in the face with the blunt side of the Way to Dawn. Riku began to attack Nox on both of his sides and finished him of by kicking him in the stomach followed by an elbow in the back of Nox Decious, sending him to the ground.

Nox Decious crashed into the ground. Riku fell to the ground, lightly landing to his feet. Darius ran over to the now unconscious Jordan trying to get him up. “C’mon Jordan, wake up. We have to get out of here.” But all Jordan could do was just lie there. Darius began to get then carry Jordan so they could out of there. But just as he was doing that, Rachael and Jennifer walked onto the courtyard. Rachael looked at Darius and said, “You guys sure did make a lot of noise! And I hope you didn’t hurt Jordan too much.” Riku ran over and told the girls, “You mean you guys missed it? Look, we have to get out of here before-” Riku was cut off short when from the ditch Nox Decious fell in someone started to come out. A man wearing all black armor, black wings and purple finger nails stared at them all and asked, “Is that all you got Riku?”

Riku got in front of the group and yelled, “I’ll hold him off, you guys get out of here! Go to the throne room and find Sora and Merlin!” Darius nodded and told the others to follow him. Nox Decious tried to follow them but Riku stood in the way. “Let’s see you give it your all this time,” Riku said, with a smirk on his face. A large smile appeared on the face of Nox Decious as he said, “You’ll regret that later boy.” Decious drew his sword as it began to change into a Keyblade. It had formed the very blade Sora used to release his heart to save Kairi’s three years ago. Except this one was no fake carved from the Darkness but a real one. Nox Decious stared down at the Keyblade before lunging himself at Riku.

Darius and the girls had made their way to the throne room by now to see Merlin and Sora waiting for them. Merlin yelled to the group, “There you all are! I thought for sure Nox Decious had gotten you!” Jordan began to wake up. He shook his head and saw he was on the back of Darius. “Huh? Hey! Let me down,” Jordan yelled. Darius reluctantly obliged to his command. Jordan dusted himself off and looked at the others. “Where’s Riku,” Jordan asked. Merlin and Sora said nothing trying to avoid Jordan’s question. Darius went to Jordan and said, “He wanted us to get out of there.” Darius reached his hand out in a sign of compassion but Jordan just smacked it. “So you just let him go out there and die? Some kind of guy you are,” Jordan said before running back to help Riku. Darius stared at Merlin then at Sora. They both nodded signaling Darius to go help two of his friends.

Riku laid on the ground before Nox Decious, trying to crawl away. Blood seeped from his forehead, spilling onto the grass. His Keyblade was only a matter of inches away from his hand as he tried to reach it. But Nox Decious had other plans as he stepped on Riku’s hand, causing Riku to scream out in agonizing pain. “Foolish boy did you think you could stop me? Especially alone,” Decious asked Riku. He grabbed the back of Riku’s neck and lifted him up. He leaned in close up and said in Riku’s ear, “You’ve been a thorn in my side for too long boy! Time for you top go away!” He raised his Keyblade ready to strike and kill Riku. But then something snatched Riku out of his hand while something else struck Nox Decious from behind, causing him to stumble. Behind him stood Jordan holding a wounded Riku while next to him stood Darius holding his Keyblade.

Decious looked at the boys and smiled saying, “Ah, so you two have returned to me. A wise and foolish choice on your behalf.” Jordan gave Riku to Darius and summoned his Oblivion Keyblade. He pointed the weapon at Nox Decious and said, “We came back for a friend. And we’ll be leaving now.” Decious laughed and growled, “I don’t think so.” He shot bolts of lightning at Darius but Jordan quickly jumped in the way and defended the blast with his Keyblade. “Jordan! C’mon we have to get out of here,” Darius yelled. Jordan looked back at Darius as he struggled to say, “Just get.....Riku out of…..here! I’ll…..catch up……I promise.” Darius hesitated but nodded in agreement and carried Riku to the others. Jordan looked at Decious and said, “Now it’s just you and me.”

Decious laughed even louder than before as he raised the strength of the lightning. Jordan was sent to his knee as he tried to hold it off. “When I’m done with you I’m going to kill your friend. Then I’m gonna kill those girls. But I think I’ll keep you alive to watch,” Decious growled. Jordan looked up at him and said, “No…..you…..won’t.” He began to slowly stand up to face Nox Decious. Decious stared in complete awe as Jordan began to hold his own against him. Jordan smiled as he used Decious’ blast against him, shooting at him. Decious fell to the ground with a loud thud. Jordan’s eyes turned red with hate as he smiled evily. Jordan pulled his hand back and threw a ball of concentrated Darkness at Nox Decious screaming, “ROT IN HELL!” Decious took the full on blast as it sent him a few feet underground. Jordan eyes went back to normal as did he. He looked at the unconscious Nox Decious then quickly ran off to catch up with the others.

Darius and the others all stood by the Cornerstone, all waiting for Jordan. “Where is he,” Rachael mumbled to herself, worried about Jordans well being. Darius stood in front of them all and said a bit loudly to himself, “C’mon man. You can make it.” Walking down the steps came Jordan holding his Keyblade at his side. Darius, Jennifer, and Rachael all ran to him eager to welcome him back. Darius hugged him in a brotherly like way and said, “Dude, what happened out there? I thought you were a goner for sure.” Jordan was about to reply until Rachael hugged him tightly. “I was so worried about you,” Rachael said. “I had to help Riku out or else he would have died,” was Jordan’s response. Rachael then replied, “Well, be more careful next time.” Jennifer then said, “Yeah, welcome back.”

Merlin smiled and said, “Indeed, you did well my boy. I almost thought you were going to lose to Nox Decious.” “Ditto,” stated Sora. Riku stood there, trying to hold himself up. “You okay Riku,” asked Jordan. Riku expression changed to joy as he replied, “Yeah. I’m fine. Nothing a few band-aids can’t fix.” Jordan laughed a bit before merlin stated that they had leave before Nox Decious returned. After Jordan and Darius agreed, Merlin made a portal telling everyone to go through it. “Now once we get to our location we’ll be safe from Nox Decious,” Merlin said. First Sora and Merlin went through, followed by Rachael and Jennifer. Darius walked through leaving Jordan and Riku behind. Riku was about to walk through but stopped right in fron of it.

“Hm? Riku, what’s wrong,” asked Jordan. Riku looked back at him and replied, “How did you defeat Nox decious?” Jordan smiled and said, “Well first I used the Keyblade to shoot his lightning strike right back at him. Then I shot some cool black orb from my hand at him.” Riku looked back at the portal and said, “You used Darkness to defeat him? Then it’s only a matter of time.” Jordan looked puzzled and mumbled, “Me using Darkness? No way.” Jordan followed Riku in while the portal closed behind them.

Nox Decious had gotten up as soon as Jordan had left his sight. He was merely playing possum so Jordan would leave. He pulled himself out of the ditch laughing. “So, he is the one my brother fortold about. Excellent,” said Decious before he disappeared in a cloud of black smoke.​
