Kingdom Hearts Story Line

    I have played Kingdom hearts 1 & 2 and some of 365/2 days. What other games will I need to understand the upcoming kingdom hearts 3. I know they have hand held system games but wasn't sure if those games were necessary

    THEY ARE NECESSARY
    1- you have Re- Chain of memories for Ps2 that continues after KH1 which explains stuff
    with KH2
    2- Birth By Sleep : 10 years before kh1 and explains shit ton of stuff and it reveals more to the story proly more than any other game.
    3 - Re-Coded for 3ds i think??? it continues after kh2 to understand what the letter at the ending say
    4 - 3D Dream Drop Distance : on nintndo 3ds and continues after re-coded

    THEY ARE SOOOOOOO IMPORTANT if you can't buy them and console then watch on youtube or sumthing

    The only necessary games are Kingdom Hearts 1, Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts 2.

    The others are just spin-offs to make money and not necessary to understand the story.

    Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix is coming out to America soon.
    This game consists of Kingdom Hearts 1 and include everything that was exclusive to the Japanese version.
    This game includes Re:Chain of Memories.
    This game also includes KH 365 days, but you DO NOT get to play the 365 Days. Square is only going to give us all the crucial cutscenes from the game, and that's it.

    Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Remix is still in production.

    That's not answering their question. It's which games are important to the story but I understand what your trying to do.
