I didn't know this til a couple of days ago but Victorious and iCarly are having their last seasons. I don't normally watch the new episodes of Nickelodeon shows but I do remember Victorious and iCarly. This was Nickelodeon's decision. They normally run shows for 60 episodes and these two shows are reaching their end if not all ready.

The spin-offs are Sam&Cat and Gibby. Sam (Jennette McCurdy from iCarly) and Cat (Ariana Grande from Victorious) become Roommates and babysit to earn money for their wacky adventures. Gibby (Noah Munck from iCarly) becomes a mentor at a recreation center for four middle school kids.

I personally think spin offs of TV series suck but who knows Dan Schneider does make good shows.

These kind of sound like terrible ideas. I'm not really of an age to watch iCarly or Victorious, but from bored channel-surfing and babysitting I've managed to see quite a few episodes of each, moreso iCarly. And from what I've seen, Ariana Grande's character is incredibly annoying. Maybe the preteens (or whoever the target audience is) see something I don't, but I couldn't imagine her carrying a show.

I tend to agree. I'm sure that's not always the case, but then there will always be exceptions. I would think the actors and actresses would want to move on in their careers and show some range. But eh, a paycheck's a paycheck, I suppose.
