I'm one of the younger (haha, 17 years young :D) kids of today who enjoy listening to some of the old bands and artists of the 60's, 70's, 80's and just banging into the nineties (as well as listening to today's alternative music~ Yeah Yeah Yeah, Parkway, BFMV, more to list but won't).

These include great bands and artists like the Rolling Stones, The Beetles, The Doors, Jimmy Hendrix, The Sex Pisotls, The Ramones, Pink Floyd and some more which I can't list during this time of the night.

Does anyone else here like these guys or have we gone onto a society where these guys are forgotten for the pop singers of today who have basically ripped off their songs.
For example, I just heard on the radio (it's quite rare to see me listening to radio music) a song by that Rhianna girl remixing "You Spin Me Round" by "Dead or Alive". It was terrible in my opinion. It made me sick and want to hurl all over the song if I could ever see it (No offence to those who like that song)

But back on topic, does anyone here also like the oldies?
Even ones I didn't list and probably don't like Madonna, Michael Jackson or Frank Sinatra (that man was cool)

Ah yes, James Brown. His sounds were very energetic and so was he. A pretty funny man as well, he was also a great guy of that era.

Rhianna didn't do the You spin me right round, it was Flo Rida ft. Kiesha. And IMO it is better than the original

I am currently listening to Madonna. Thanks to all the 20/30 year olds that make websites, I love the '80s. Retro sites are fun to read. There is also weird parallels to the modern day. In the late '80s people thought it was the end of the world...in the late 00s' people think it is the end of the world.
