Osama Bin Laden is dead

On May 1. I heard it on Wikipedia. I searched him. He was one of the World's 10 Most Wanted.

 

Eh, I heard him in the news today (May 1) last time before I do something fun.

 

i never knew the guy's name, but it's about time he's dead. he destroyed our twin towers and kuilled many people. damn terroists. he got what he deserved

 

it happened yesterday.

 

Meh. Good to have a mastermind to be stopped but I would rather not celebrate over someon's death though. Also, they have to immediately bury him because of the Muslim/ Islamic tradition of a person needing to be buried in 24 hours. Guess the sea was the place for him.

 

I was watching GMA this morning and that's when I heard the news. Apparently, there were celebrations all throughout the country last night. And today my school was forced to go out on the lawn and salute the flag.

"Let's go pledge to a flag because we shot a guy!"

 

I'm glad he's dead :3

Well according to the radio, newspaper, and TV... This is the story...

For a couple of years the Military has been watching one man, who was very much trusted by Bin Laden. The man was constantly going in and out of a mansion for food. They new a terrorist was in that mansion, but whether or not it was Osama was unknown. A helicopter dropped the navy seals in front of tthe mansion and well, they raided. Bin laden, his son, wife, and three other men were inside, Bin Laden was quickly shot down and dead. They tested the DNA and sure enough it was Bin Laden.
So some goood news for America today.

 

I agree with Summoner on this. Now before I go into to this let me first say, I AM GLAD JUSTICE WAS SERVED, but what I'm not happy about is that we are so barbaric as a country that we rejoice in the streets when someone dies. Now Osama was a bad person who killed alota people and devasted our country, but he was still a PERSON! He had a wife and kids and friends who loved him (despite the fact that he was evil ) and I don't think his kids should have to see images on TV of so many people happy that their father was killed. I'm just looking at this from an outside point of view, I consider myself to be pretty patriotic but I'm also a humanistic person as well.

 

Doubtful, The US just took out the head of Al Qaeda. Expect retaliation.

 

Also, some students in my class was wondering of Obama will end up becoming the next target to be assassinated in Presidential history. Hope not. President Bush was the one who wanted to go after Osama. The family may have been terrorists themselves but we don't know that for sure. we hung Saddam Hussein and took down Osama. What's next? This war with Iraq has ended...I think. We do not need another. -.- I still don't know if we won the war or if it just ended in a draw.

Not saying that we should not be glad that we do not have to feel threaten anymore and that we have stopped our enemy from making any further plans. Still, it just feels inhumane I guess. Did he deserve to die? Yes. I am glad that justice has taken its toll. Still, I cannot make myself to be overjoyed over this. I don't know how clearer I can get. Maybe a feeling that something else will happen or that we will end up taking another blow or what.

 

To me this is just another small victory
If we ever want to be able to sleep soundly at night then we would have to live in a chaos free world. But as mankind we feed on chaos like a leech to blood. Theres just something about it that we cant get enough of/
We still have a mad man out there name Kil Gung il and in my opinion if he wanted to he could annihilate us. He is just bat shit crazy and because of him we have the game home front, If you havent played it you should some creepy and alarming stuff in that game

 

ok guys, honestly, Osama's dead. It happened. It's over. We got are revenge. But how I see it, it's just America killing someone. I don't care who he is. Stop making such a fuss over this.
