    i will add more when i make more so keep stopping in to see
    MY FAVORITE IS THE AQUA SIG I JUST MADE
    To answer some questions i use GIMP. Not the best software but still pretty decent.
    Everything Above the background would look fine if you put it in a sig, so if you think it looks bad please dont say anything... cause i'll go put it in my sig and show you it looks fine...
    Oh and go request a set in my Sig and Av shop! It'll help me get better.

    I can tell that you just colored over it. -_- It reminds me of photobucket. Not photoshop! Photobucket. Not a fan of it. Plus, You should try to add a background and details. I am just an average graphic maker myself but that is what all of us, expert, intermediates, and beginners, strives for. I know that the weapon is supposed to be red but... yea. There should be something else behind Xion that can give more meaning.

    like i said im a noob still figuring out how to work everything... and i didnt color over it... editing...
    yes background would help
    I Used GIMP... but i am still getting used to it jsut figured out how to do colors

    you can find free versions of photoshop. try looking for it. it'll help you a lot better. it looks better than what i draw

    Fairly good for starting off, and gimp is hard to maneuver. I would work on the cropping. The cropping is fairly messy. I know photoshop has a magic tool for cropping where it highlight everything by color sections so it gets close in to the round pixel so it's a little cleaner. I'm sure gimp has it and it'll help you.

    Now I really like the first Final Fantasy one with Lightning. Though it's sort of basic and simple, it's really good. After all one must know with art, simple is good.

    Thanks, i normally use the blur tool to get rid of rough edges, but i was kinda rushing so they are kinda chopping. And the two final fantasy ones are my favorites :)

    Thnx Zol for the sig and your pretty good for a starter i want to see more of ur work :D

    i like everything so far but try to use all the different effects and try to do more in ur backrounds Thnx hope u can get better in anyway but still pretty good!!!!!

    Like Destiny mentioned, you really need to work on the cropping. The blur tool isn't really the best choice for blending a render into the background, either. But I'm too unfamiliar with GIMP to suggest a better one.

    Your signatures don't look like cohesive wholes. You have a background and then put an image on top of it. Maybe try layering your effects a little more, adding some depth. Add some effects (whether that be brushing, or textures, or whatever) to make the background less uniform. That'd help. My favorite is the Aqua signature. It helps that there's only one image in that signature.

    Not bad for a noob. Keep practicing.

    Yes i am struggling a little with the backgrounds... not sure exactly what to use...
    I just made the Aqua one, the more i make the better i get.
    I also discovered how i dont have to crop at all...
    if i just use PNG files it recuires no cropping...

    Of all the current ones, I like best the Roxas one. Focus on doing things similar to this, sticking with one focal point. Putting in 2 or more things can make things difficult (I still can't pull it off properly). Experiment what you can do with your stock/render. Lighting, blurring, filters, colours. Anything you can and see what you're able to do. Experiment =]

    In the end, it's just practice practice practice. Find what method works best for you and what not.

    ignore everything ABOVE the background area... if you were to put it in an actual sig it would look fine.

    what do you use, i want to see if i can do it like this to some of the stuff i'm making on FotoFlexer, any who better than anything i can make now at least.
