[FONT=&quot](Shots of water, zooms in, pulses in (16 zooms in time with beat). Person in black and black cloak, his face shrouded rises from the water. He walks and suddenly dashes in a fast motion towards the camera and walks away.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot](Splitscreen- left: Alex’s right eye, half of his face shrouded in black. His right eye in focus. His eyes are closed, turning and writhing. Splitscreen- right: Shadow walks up to the town (greenery beside McDonalds). Someone walks by and he pulses him away with a flick of his hand. A shot follows of hand gripping a throat. Frames are divided up in shots of black. Everything fades away and a hand grips a bag and walks to school. [/FONT]

(Splitscreen of Alex and Shadow walking. Alex (Progressive), Shadow (Regressive). They are walking into each other)[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot](Over the shoulder of Shadow, looking at Alex entering school.)[/FONT]

Scene 1

[FONT=&quot](Music Cuts and fades, with the sound of taps)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot](Fades back in and a shot of a hand cleaning under a tap appears. Alex stops tap and we see his eyes as the water stops, widened. His reflection is on the right and the Shadow’s on the left, trying to grapple him. It suddenly disappears)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]
ALEX: It all started with a strange Wednesday morning.. I had these strange dreams of shadows lurking around, attacking people, harming people, killing people. I was imagining it all the time. I was afraid. And then, things got from weird to just plain creepy. [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot](Fades out and fades in to guy walking behind Alex. Shot focuses on feet, then arms, then hands gripping onto Alex’s neck)[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]BULLY: Well…look what we have here. It’s the shrimp who tried to badmouth me the other day. What did you say? Oh yes, I remember. “A big bare brained arsehole….” Well….I’ll show you how bare brained you are, gay boy”[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]ALEX: How about no?[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot](Alex prepares a kick, as it happens in slow motion and then suddenly in fast motion, he kicks him away out of the shot. A thudding sound of lockers being hit on occurs. Alex stays on left hand side of the shot and turns around. The shot changes to a slow creep zoom in towards the bully unconscious. Alex perks an eyebrow and an extreme close up reveals his surprised eyes. He runs away from the scene, not wanting to be caught. Shots of Alex running occurs with a thought track.(Use overexasparated sound during kick scene.)[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Scene 2
[/FONT]​

[FONT=&quot]ALEX (thought): What just happened? I could never kick like that before….[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]
(Alex runs into a girl, as he focuses on his thoughts, igniting the fact that he’s weak. He was pushed over by a smaller girl. Alex is on the left again, as the girl looks down at him)

ALEX: Sorry for that….you okay?[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]
(The girl looks at him curiously)[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]NICOLE: I’m fine. Who are you?[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]ALEX: Alex…and you?[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]NICOLE: Nicole but what’s your surname?[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]ALEX: Cobble….why?[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]NICOLE (smiling): No reason but I’d watch out. You don’t know what lies around the corner. Anyway….do you know where Mr Horton’s class is? I’m kinda lost. I’m new here…[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]ALEX: As a matter of fact, I have the same class next. Follow me.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]
(Girl follows Alex but as she follows, her hand sparks with fire. She shakes it off)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]
ALEX: Can I smell something burning?[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]NICOLE: Nah, it’s probably your imagination[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]ALEX: Yeah, I sure hope so…[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]ALEX (Aside): This is the day when everything in my life turned upside down…[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot](POV) (Everyone in the shot except for Alex slows down and he looks around the crowd who see nothing and keep walking. He looks at Nicole who seems shocked and as he turns around, he sees a shadow standing by itself. The shot fades to black and white and then black as the shadow takes him. Sounds throughout this scene are overexposed)[/FONT]
