((NOTE: Everything in this post is theory. If I got something wrong, please correct me))
Alright then. We all know that in Kingdom Hearts verse, hearts aren't quite organs put a philosophical notion. They run on emotion and instinct, and without them people are cold, ruthless, and emotionless (Possibly. Some say Nobodies are philosophical zombies, some say they do have emotion, some say that Yen Sid and Mickey were spreading propaganda to get Sora to kill them...whatever). On the flip side, having only a heart makes you mindless creatures acting only on instinct...besides Sora (But even he, while cognitive, was a little out of it.) (This also illustrates that Kingdom hearts is a lot more about duality and different sides or good and evil then most people give it credit for. Having too much heart is just as bad as having none) Now, for this post, I won't be referring to the "heart" as heart. Instead, I'll be using a theory I read about years ago.

There are three layers of the soul- the part that is, the part that thinks, and the part that feels. In this post, I'll be referring to the part of the soul that makes up our self as the corporal soul, the part that makes up our essential identity and thought as the vegetative soul, and the part that relies or feeling and instinct (our "hearts") as the spiritual soul.
Heartless, our enemies for the first game, are mindless being craving only to steal others hearts. They lack the vegetative soul. In contrast Nobodies (obviously) lack the spiritual soul. Therefore, I propose that the Unbirth lack the corporal soul, and therefore they seek new bodies.

IN SUMMATION: Kh is philosophical. Unbirth are body snatchers.

Now on to the second part of my theory. In the main Kingdom Hearts titles, Sora's main enemy is the darkness. However, I have heard it stated that in BBS, there are no Heartless. It also seems that BBS is "Darker and Edgier" then main KH. Therefore, I have a theory. There always seems to be Keybladers(or Chasers, it seems) in trios of three. One connected to light, the other to darkness. Now, in main KH that would be, respectively, Kairi and Riku (if Kairi actually has a Keyblade, which I think she does...she just needs Riku's help to realise it.) Now, that leaves two possibilities for the third (and apparently main) Keyblade Master:
    1) They are true neutral and are neither light nor dark.
    2) They are the opposite of whatever evil is at that time. For example, in Sora's time evil leans on the side of darkness, so Sora is light. However, in VAT's time, it may be light, and therefore the main Keyblade Master of the three (possibly Ven) would be dark.

I only have one more thing to say. In KH1, the Heartless are dark. In KH2, the Nobodies are neutral, neither light nor dark but nothing. Perhaps the Unbirth's are light?

Discuss or laugh at, whichever you please.

a little confusing, but it sounds good, light being used for ad purposes. good idea.

But remember, it's not yet revealed to us if the Keybladers are in trios, and if you're meaning the later ones, Sora, Riku, Kairi, and the earliers, Terra, Ven, Aqua.

But notice that even thought Mickey got his Keyblade by different doings, he seems to be the only one who has no connection to somebody two who have Keyblades.

But, if your theory is true, the Mickey must have some connection to the old fart Xehanorth (as seen in the Kingdom Hearts II's seret ending) and the guy besides him, who looks like Riku in his darkness form in KH1.
If that is revealed, then there are three trios who have the keyblades, and Mickey's got to be connected to the two guys in the video.

Just realized by writing this text that when Mickey got his Keyblade in the Realm of Darkness, then HOW IN THE HELL did he have the Keyblade in the secret ending video?

(And lastly, if the trio theory is true, Mickey is known as the Darkness, but then Xehanort or the guy with fancy pants should be light, or neutral.)
