    hi guys,

    To clarify the confusion about rep and how it works I thought I'd post this quick thread giving you all the low down.

    As you know members can give each other both positive and negative rep points for the threads and posts they make, the confusion was arising from the text "Rep Power 4" or "Rep Power 2" which was visible under you post count. I have since removed this from the profile since this is actually confusing and has no relationship to the number of bars you see.

    Points and Bars

    The basic conversion rate is 50 points == 1 bar, this changes once your rep level hits 250, after that its 100 points == 1 bar.

    That's it really, so most people will either have 1 or 0 bars, as soon as you hit 50 you'll get your first bar.

    Just a correction, you started off with 1 bar, so 50 points gets you your second bar :)

    Yeah I like it to it'll be great, and wow, TD you got alot. So to clarify once a person get's 50 rep points it's added on to their rep and maybe even another box. Right?

    But, so you must have 50 individual rep points, before you get a second? With the seeming inactiveness of most people giving rep, that's gonna take a while *sigh*

    The red ones :), the grey ones mean the rep is inactive

    Oh, okay. :D I was just wondering that if the grey ones are nega reps, why had someone given me grey rep and the comment was "helpful :)". :D And I wasn't sure about it because I don't have any red reps.

    I have like 8 grey reps...do they become active or something?

    Nope they stay the same.

    You need to rep a person in order for them to have a green rep.

    I think it's a start out.

    There's a Green, Red and Gray. IDK why either.
