Riku the Blindfolded

    I think I know the reason why Riku is going blindfolded in KH2 and 358/2 Days, but just to make sure could someone please make it clear to me? :)

    Because his eyes couldn't lie, he was trying to hide his darkness.

    Yeah I can understand that far, but didn't he accept his darkness in Chain of Memories? The last conversation he had with DiZ on the crossroad said:
    DiZ - Will you choose the road to light, or the road to darkness?
    Riku - Neither suits me... I'm taking the middle road.
    DiZ - You mean the twilight road to nightfall?
    Riku - No, the road to dawn.

    Furthermore, why did he transform into Ansem when he removed the blindfold?

    He accepted that he walks into dawn. Hints at his keyblade being named "way to dawn". He knew he had darkness within him, so he didn't want to return home (to DI) knowing what he was to become. He accepted the fact that he had darkness. and at the end of CoM, a bit of Xehanort's heartless lingered within him. He knew this, so instead of returning home he decided to accept the darkness and concour it. He put the blindfold on to hide the darkness (well basically there is more too it, but im putting it in simple terms), when he removed it, he knew the darkness would "take over" so he turned into Xehanort's heartless.

    *facepalm yourself!*
    It sounds to me like you are just repeating yourself over and over. Besides you don't have to put it simple for me, I'm not stupid, I just wanted re-explaination as to why he took the apperance of Ansem when he took off the blindfold.
